I disagree. KC won two Super Bowls with CEH. I doubt they could have won them without him.
Not completely joking.
In 2022, CEH started the first 6 games and scored 5TD in that span (7TDs on the season). KC had home field advantage over Cincy by one game. If CEH hadn't played so well to start the season, particularly against TB, KC could have lost a game and home field advantage in the AFC championship game.

CEH hasn't been Tony Dorsett, but he hasn't been Trent Richardson either.
I would agree with this. Definitely a player that was more valuable to his team than Fantasy. Outside of Kelce one could argue all KC WRs and RBs kinda in the same boat.

With that said, KEH has fallen off a cliff now.

stats are off (7 in the span, 9 on the season), but i get the point. but i lose the point at winning home field advantage as they lost that game to cincy.

they might have won with him, but not because of him...1 carry in teh last two super bowls.

CEH has only played in the 2020 & 2023 Super bowls (he didnt play in the 2022 one against the Eagles)

His stats from 2020 SB
9 Rushing Attempts for 64 Yards
2 Receptions for 23 Yards
Chiefs Loss (to TB)

His stats from 2023 SB
1 Rushing Attempt for 0 Yards
Chiefs Win (over SF)

So his performance didnt insure a Chiefs win, but his absence certainly didnt interfere with any of their SB wins.
Please speak to clarion contrarion before considering the use of vetos..

CEH has not been good, but he’s still been a far better runner than Richardson in the NFL.

He has 187 fewer yards in his career, but on 173 fewer attempts. Richardson at 3.3 ypc is ridiculously bad.

Draft is next Thursday, thank goodness

Considering his startup price, T-Rich has to be there.

There's so many of them, but I think Kevin White is right up there, considering he was going as high as 1.01 by a few people over Gurley. He was routinely 1.02 and 1.03, and never scored an NFL TD. 28 catches and 397 career yards.

he was going that high? that is insane. was it pre or post injury news? i snagged him at 21overall post injury news and loved it at the time.

The Good
- Run Blocking
- Run After Catch
- Win Contested Catches (although he did lose some as well)
- Can beat DB's with his speed.
- Good Hands
- Comeback route, worked well back to the ball most of the time.

The OK
- Lacked consistency beating coverage on go-routes. Did not see Perriman-like explosion on every play.
- Settles in-between zone defenders
- Keep defenders at bay with stiffarm in order to create or maintain separation before the catch.

The Ugly
- Limited Route Tree - Tons of screens and shallow crosses, zero out routes or back shoulder catches.
- Runs most routes poorly
- Does not routinely use his body to shield defenders from the ball
- Double move rarely fools anyone
- Does not gain separation on most routes
- Only subtle move to gain separation is stiff arm, not much else in his arsenal.

My Bottom Line
- Intriguing player who has great size and speed, but only showed out for one year with an estimated 40% of his catches coming from lame-sauce plays. Does not routinely get open despite possessing elite size, athleticism, and aggressiveness because of poor route running. Does not routinely display the WR intangibles i'm looking for such as creating separation in a variety of ways, showing an awareness of route concepts, running a variety of routes, and overall producing in a way that I think will translate to the NFL. I think Kevin White can certainly be a useful and productive player on the next level because he does do many things well, but in my opinion I think becoming a WR1 is a long shot for him.

Commonly discussed "Red Flags" for Kevin White
- "Old" for a rookie, 23 years of age
- Very late Breakout Age of 21.2 years old (29th percentile)
- 13.3 College YPR, which is extremely low for a player of his size and speed. Even everyone's favorite YPR punching bag Allen Robinsons' was higher (14.8).
- White only did "it" for 1 year
.White - Lots of Screens, shallow crosses, go routes, comebacks routes. Really physical WR, excellent with the ball in his hands. Seems to rely on his physicality too much. Does not play to his 4.35 time. After watching how smooth Parker was, White looks like a bull in a china shop. Tries to out-muscle instead of out-think db's which is why he has so many contested catches and pass-interference flags against him. Have yet to see a sharp cut. Watched his QB get intercepted because he rounded out a slant/in route. At his best when he can just blow past a DB in a straight line. Seems to telegraph his routes. Watched him run the same exact double move Parker did, Parker made the guy look silly yet White's defender wasn't fooled at all. Great run blocker although seemed to get his fair share of holding penalties to go along with it. Nice leaping ability to win contested balls. Uses special physical ability to overcome shortcomings in route running and WR instincts. Had 100+ catches but literally half of them had to have been screen passes.

CEH is only being discussed because fantasy drafters made a poor choice taking him over JT. He has been fine as a pro and not a bust. Just not a star.
