Gap between 1.01 and Kyler?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

For context its for my team in sig. I have an offer of Kyler, several good IDP, and some mid picks for 1.01.

IMHO Kyler is (in reality) very close in value to CW. However I doubt the market would support me in that. My bet is people would want a solid piece on top of Kyler to move the 1.01.

whats the offer? and what is the options at RB.
I'm not a believer in Caleb so I would be making this move to be honest especially since you got 1.02

Actual value wise I see this as a pickem. I have zero interest in the idps or mid round picks. He's coming to you. If he wants Williams I want a late 24 first or a 25 first coming back with Kyler. If he doesn't I'll gladly take the extra years with Caleb and the decent wr options he'll have there.

I'm thinking of countering

1.01 for Kyler, James Cook, C Wilkins (16 PPG), Jack Campbell (went 1.12 last year), 2.04

It's swapping Cook and 2.04 for Harold Landry and 3 3rds

What do you think?

Assuming your contracts work out to field a lineup easily enough (I don’t know how all that works), this is the Kyler side for me by quite a bit.

Never mind thats a no go.

So the offer is 1.01 for Kyler, Wilkins, Landry, Campbell. 3.07, and 2 future 3rds

Roughly an early to mid 2nd on top of Kyler for 1.01, theoretically.

A lot of people think that CW will be a bust, so for me who has Kyler, i prefer Murray than the 1.01
I know what i have with Kyler, in fantasy he is good, so underrated

I strongly prefer Kyler here. Put up a good clean fight negotiating, then accept a deal built around Kyler+IDPs plus whatever else you can get from him.

I know full IDP rosters increase the value of 3rds, but it would be great if you could change one or two of the 3rds to 2nds. If the other guy won't budge, it would not be a deal breaker for me. But it seems like a reasonable ask during negotiations, since he was the one to initiate contact.

At worst, Kyrler is going to produce at the same level CW does for the next few years. At best, we already know Kyler is capable of putting up year end T5QB production AND he's getting MHJr in a couple of weeks. Kyler is extremely productive and still young. And you get a good grab bag of other pieces.

Depending on your IDP scoring, Wilkins, Landry, and we hope Campbell in year 2 are all three plug and play options. Top 10 DE/Edge, Top 5 DT, and fingers crossed Top 24 LB. Depending on settings those are valuable pieces. Agree with others, even in IDP leagues, 3rds only have marginal value. A 2nd instead of one or two of those 3rds would probably get me to bite.

Yeah they’re all valuable pieces with our scoring. Campbell went 1.12 last year for example. He’s adamant that there is no wiggle room and has rejected all my counters, so need to decide if I’m taking this or passing. For what it’s worth he’s kicking off a rebuild, so the future 3rds should be early.

im on the opposite side and id stay put unless they add something to kyler that actually makes you excited and feel strongly about the move. im not a kyler guy though and the red flags are plentiful (i will never forget that his team put language into a contract that he signed that said he needed to study for games, there is no bigger alarm in the qb world). fields and tebow were also good for fantasy football if you will recall. his single high season for td passes was 26 back in 2020. if he has any other issue with his legs you are gonna be sitting on a tough to move asset.
