Trading away 1.02 (poll)

I’ve got 1.02 and 1.04. A leaguemate has 1.01, 1.03, and 1.05. He plans to take MHJ 1.01 and nabers 1.03, and then whatever QB is left at 1.05. He offered me this:

Give: 1.02 (Caleb)
Get: 1.05 + two 2025 1s.

So this would give him MHJ Nabers and Caleb. I’d like take Odunze and prolly Daniels at 1.04 and 1.05.

One of the 2025 1s that I would acquire is as close as a lock to being 1.01 as I can imagine. At worst it’s 1.02. The Team is just that bad.

Should I move off of Caleb for this? I doubt I’ll start him anytime soon, but if he hits in year or so then I can move Mahomes or Allen if I want. I’ve taken an extended break this off-season and really know nothing about the 2025 class. Also, I really don’t want to give someone else the rights to MHJ nabers and Caleb, but what can you do. Thoughts?

Me personally, I'm not taking the sub-200 pound QB (even in SF) over Bowers with Mahomes, Allen, and Richardson on the bench and only Kelce healthy to start the year, but I'm also not a big Daniels fan.

I'd rather have Nabers and Bowers over Odunze and Bowers (or likely Daniels in your case) but probably not by the difference of two 1sts.

If I did the trade I'd be taking two RBs with those picks too, so there's that.

if he is wanting Caleb make him pay dearly get one of those top two wrs to move off him. Its not a bad deal that is proposed but he is going get two 10 year studs wrs in this draft and the top generational(supposedly) QB. BTW how do you gusy end up with all the picks? You play with children?

I landed these two firsts from a contender between the 2022 and 2023 seasons. I don't recall how he ended up with them, and I got lucky that they ended up being early. Leaguemate traded away Tee for what ended up being 1.03, traded away Achane for what ended up being 1.05, and "earned" 1.01

Everyone still thinking this is a deal to make? I'd likely end up taking Daniels 1.04 and Odunze 1.05. My current QBs are Mahomes Allen adn ARich.

1.01-1.03 would be MHJ, Caleb, and Nabers at this time anyway.

I have thought about that. I'd end up with Nabers and then Daniels instead of Odunze and Daniels. The trade partner would take MHJ 1.01 and then Caleb 1.03.

I guess it's a matter of...are Nabers and Odunze different by the two 2025 1sts that I'd get in this trade, since I'll end up with Daniels in either scenario. If everything stays as I expect in this league, I’ll end up with:

Caleb + Odunze (trade partner will take MHJ 1, nabers 3, Daniels 5)

Nabers + Daniels

Daniels + Odunze + two 2025 1sts
