Zamir value & counter

Team 2 in signature - 12tm PPR SuperFlex

Last night I was offered 2.10 for Zamir White from a fellow contender who's clearly just looking for RB depth. He's my RB6 and is unlikely to start for me. But I'd planned to decline simply because I see a clear path to his value being more than 2.10. If it craters to less than that, it doesn't feel like much of a loss

Now in terms of a counter, would these make sense? Are they reasonable? Should I hold altogether?

Counter 1: Pretty straightforward. Ask for a 2nd next year in hopes that it's better than 2.10 while moving up a few spots late.

Give: Zamir + 4.01
Get: '25 2nd + 3.10

Couter 2: Don't know if this is lofty, but I feel like it makes sense for both sides considering his current QB room is: Lamar, Fields, Stidham
Give: Russ + Zamir
Get: 1.10 + 3.10

Doesnt hurt to start off with the second option and if he declines just go with the first one. Id sell White for a random 2nd.

That was my thought. Just wanna make sure option 2 isn't insulting lol.

And yeah, I figure a random 2nd (even one that projects late) has more utility than a known late 2nd

I like the approach. And prefer your side of both deals.

I'd hold Zamir over a random 2nd from a contending team (e.g. less random). I'd hold unless offered an early 2nd or what looked like a future early 2nd.

It seems like I'm on an island so far, but I don't like either of the counter-offers. I'd hold in both cases.

Yes, the bottom could easily drop out of both Z White and R Wilson (I actually traded R Wilson for Team 1 in sig for that exact reason). My biggest issue is that I don't think too highly of the prospects at 1.10.

White has realistic upside (and realistic risk before the draft). Wilson makes me nervous. I'd rather try to cash out on Wilson for two future 2nds or, if you are actively looking to trade White, White + Wilson for three 2nds.

He declined both offers yesterday and just countered back with

Russ + Zamir
for
2.10 + '25 2nd (again, mid/late)

Pretty easy decline I think. Would leave me without a QB3, little draft capital to acquire a starting QB, and probably an undersell on White
