Looking at getting a true #1 TE. I have Schultz, Freiermuth and Fant, but see Evan Engram as a possible option via trade.

As a 29 year old, is he worth moving Freiermuth and a piece for?

It depends on the piece. In a 1qb league Rodgers has almost no value.

I'm doing this deal regardless of whether or not you are a contender. I have Engram way over 'Muth for '24. You can always sell him in-season if you aren't contending. A.Rod is close to worthless in 1QB so I'm taking the best player - easily Engram.

I’d be with this thought process… mostly.

Assuming you’re competing right now I’d do it Engram has about a 2 year window where he’ll be a unsexy producer (possibly top 5 range). But if you try to sell him you won’t get much for him. Only was able to net a 2nd in a TE 2ppr league last year, so he’s a good buy at a lower price.
