Amon-Ra for Bijan?
Amon-Ra for Bijan?
10 Team SF - Full PPR - Start QB/2 RB/2 WR/TE/3 FLEX/1 SF
Give: Amon-Ra St. Brown
Receive: Bijan Robinson
Current Roster
QB: Stroud, Lawrence, Howell
RB: Chubba, Gibson, Dowdle, Mitchell
WR: Lamb, Amon-Ra, London, Dell, Addison
TE: Shultz, Freiermuth
2024 Picks: 1.02, 1.04, 1.06, 2.04, 2.06, 3.04
Was rebuilding but want to move into contending - RB is a massive hole for me. Likely targeting Marvin Harrison Jr. at 1.02 and after that I'll be flexible.
Does Amon-Ra for Bijan help my balance or should I hold?

Re: Amon-Ra for Bijan?
Not for me. With the ability to start 5WR, I'm holding ARSB. I'd rather do any/all of the following:
Use 2.04/2.06 on rookie RB
Deal 2.04 and/or 2.06 for a vet RB
Deal Addison for a vet RB
Use 2.04/2.06 on rookie RB
Deal 2.04 and/or 2.06 for a vet RB
Deal Addison for a vet RB
Re: Amon-Ra for Bijan?
I’d take Bijan with it being start 2 Rb but it’s very close and I can definitely see tstaffords view and keeping ARSB is the safe play for sure but I think Bijan can be game changing this year

Re: Amon-Ra for Bijan?
Realistically you are only ever going to start 4 WRs (even a low end QB2 is better than a WR5). I think it's a fair trade. I usually make sure every other position is locked in before worrying about RB, but if you feel you are there, this is a good way to land the RB1. You'll still need to buy a cheaper vet or two to contend.
Re: Amon-Ra for Bijan?
But that's not the starting requirements - it's 2WR, 3Flex and a SFCGW wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2024 9:48 am Realistically you are only ever going to start 4 WRs (even a low end QB2 is better than a WR5). Re: Amon-Ra for Bijan?
My bad, misread the way it's typed as 3WR and a single FL. If it's 2 and 3 and I agree, rather have that 5th WR than an RB.tstafford wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2024 9:50 amBut that's not the starting requirements - it's 2WR, 3Flex and a SFCGW wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2024 9:48 am Realistically you are only ever going to start 4 WRs (even a low end QB2 is better than a WR5). Re: Amon-Ra for Bijan?
Yeah. My SF league has the same starting requirements. It changes things. Makes QB2 less important and TE very unimportant.CGW wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2024 10:01 amMy bad, misread the way it's typed as 3WR and a single FL. Re: Amon-Ra for Bijan?
Thanks for the feedback all - being full PPR and having the ability to start 5 WR's is definitely appealing as someone touched on. I have a lot of 2nd/3rd draft capital this year that maybe could be used to either draft rookie RB's or trade for vets.
I floated it to the Bijan owner straight up - he responded that he thinks it is fair but wants to hold onto Bijan. I'm not super interested in adding anything on top at the moment so likely won't have this trade happen.

Re: Amon-Ra for Bijan?
I wouldnt ever trade a top 5 Dynasty WR for any RB. Its just too risky of a move for me.

Re: Amon-Ra for Bijan?
I think it is fair if you're looking at around a 2-year window. Long-term, I'd rather have ARSB. Since you're not realistically competing right away (sorry), I'm holding ARSB pretty easily here.

Re: Amon-Ra for Bijan?
Full PPR I want ARSB here, I'd lean Bijan in Half PPR.
If you get MHJ at 1.02, I'd consider offering 1.04 for Bijan

Re: Amon-Ra for Bijan?
Rather have Bijan but that is a very bad trade for you (if the owner would even make it). St. Brown is worth more.

Re: Amon-Ra for Bijan?
I don't think so, not in SF leagues.Black Adam wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2024 8:01 pm Rather have Bijan but that is a very bad trade for you (if the owner would even make it). St. Brown is worth more.

Bijan might be worth a little more, but we all knew during the 2023 rookie draft, that Caleb and MHJ would be worth more than Bijan coming out. Bijan is slightly limited because he plays the RB position, the most volatile and shortest shelf life position in dynasty.
I mean in SF, you might have to throw a mid 2nd at most on top of 1.04 for Bijan.
Personally, I would not even do it, as I do not like to invest much capital in the RB position.
I sold 2 of my 3 Bijan shares before the 2023 season started.
I prefer to spend my capital on the QB/WR positions, and fill my RB slots with less expensive players.
But everyone is different. Maybe you value Bijan much more highly than I do.
Re: Amon-Ra for Bijan?
My guess is more times than not the 1.04 isn't netting Bijan. But you never know.MacDaddy123 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2024 8:09 pmI don't think so, not in SF leagues.Black Adam wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2024 8:01 pm Rather have Bijan but that is a very bad trade for you (if the owner would even make it).
