Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread

I do infact believe he will be bye week filler with flex upside at best. Is it a negative view of JSN? Sure. "Too negative a bais"...I don't know, when veiwed thru historical statistical rookie performance lens, he looks like there are zero 1k yard seasons ahead. he looks like a perenial 500 yard 4 td kinda guy. he looks like he will be WR3 forever, after DK and Lockett, it will be DK and stud rookie WR 2026, after that it will be WR3/4 on random AFC East team...in my opinion.

But I appreciate this because it is getting me closer to an answer for my question. Even those who agree that JSN is not the stud first round pick we hoped he'd be (yes, we, I was in on his profile predraft, only didn't get a share because I had no picks in his range) the perceived value from the non-JSN zealots is still mid-2nd. hey maybe I can get him as a piece in a deal and flip him again, never know, but I'm not buying him to plug and play, that's all

So you think his rookie season was his best career year? Or how is the bolded to be understood?

LOL. I think posts crossing over is just fine. Y'all are too rigid and bleep about some of this stuff. But then again, this IS the 2024 draft so...I don't expect the JSN conversation to take over. It'll fade soon enough. Though I may not be the right guy to chime in on this LOL.

JSN is relevant to this thread because there have been several questions across threads asking about JSN's value in 2024 draft picks.

Also, there was a question a couple of pages ago in this very thread that asked, and I paraphrase, "If JSN's value fell from the '23 draft to today because of a subpar rookie season, would a '24 rookie receiver who had a disappointing rookie season also drop?"

I think Williams, Daniels, Maye, and JJM will all be starters for atleast a full season (bold take, I know). The rest all look like career backups to me. Maybe we end up with an AOC/Sam Howell type situation with one of the others, but none of them look like franchise guys to me. I’d forced to take a late round stab at one of them, I’d pick Penix.

50% of first rd picks for QBs flame out. After than it’s more likely to become backups and such. Definitely worth it to take some of these lottery tickets with the hope that the next Stroud is in your stable.

I have the 1.02 in a SF TEP league. I asked the guy with the 1.01 what the price was to swap picks. IDK, was thinking maybe I wanted Williams instead Harrison. He made an offer of the 1.01 for the 1.02 + 1.06 OOF. That seems like WAY to much to me. Thoughts?
