Difference Between 1.07 and 1.04?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Difference Between 1.07 and 1.04?

Postby bigbuck22 » Mon Apr 01, 2024 3:42 pm

12T SF tiered PPR

If you held the 1.04, were runner-up last year, and are solid at all positions, what would you need to move out of that pick and slide back three picks to 1.07?

Also, what on top of Aiyuk for 1.04?

Hard to know for sure although the guys at 1 and 2 sold all of their assets in order to land those picks. Neither has a startable QB or much of anything for that matter. I have 1.03 and plan to take a WR.

Gotcha, IDK on top Aiyuk maybe a 2nd? to drop that far and miss out on Odzune , I want a 1st and maybe a 2nd? hard to know what or how you value the 3 wrs. I assume no TEP and Bowers picked that high is a risk if not.

Wouldn’t take less than 2 firsts plus the 1.07.

On top of Aiyuk (who I’m not a FF fan of): at least a 1st and an early 2nd.

Any 1st this year or projected mid to early 1st next year. 1.07 is the last of my tier in this format. I would value Aiyuk =1.07 in this format.

So you are thinking of offering Aiyuk and 1.07 to move up to 1.04? I could see that but might still be a little light.

Watching this, as I am also considering moving back from 1.04 to 1.07.
I would definitely do it if Aiyuk was the price of pick differential.

The opposite.

OP has 1.03 and 1.04. OP is going to take best WR available at 1.03. He might trade 1.04 to the guy who owns 1.07. Right now the other guy is offering Aiyuk as the bait for 1.04. Of course, there is also the possibility of basing the trade around the 1.07+. I see this as three options.

A) OP gives 1.04
OP receives Aiyuk + ????

B) OP gives 1.04
OP receives 1.07 + ????

C) OP gives 1.04
OP receives Aiyuk + 1.07

IMO, option C is not going to happen. I can't see the other guy being willing to pay that much to move up to 1.04. Maybe worth making the suggestion and seeing if the other guy is desperate.

Personally, I'd be very happy receiving Aiyuk + two 2nds. Aiyuk is a known and proven asset, is young, and in a good system. If any of the rookie WRs available at 1.04 end up as good as Aiyuk, we'd call that a great success.

Maybe work a deal with one or two 2nds being the difference in either option A or option B. Or hold the 1.04 and take whomever you like best.

Looking back, I think you're right!!! When I re-read the thread with that roster in mind, it does sound like he has the 1.03 and 1.07, and wants to add the 1.04.

Now I'm all confused.
