thanks, yeah, trying to move guys for picks, didn't take the 2025 1st offer for Cousins, felt a bit low to me, and with the draft we'll see if i get a QB or not, then I'll have the luxury of moving him. Much appreciation. tried offering just about ALL of my non-starting WRs and didn't get a response aside from, "not interested". The trouble about taking over a bad orphan with good picks is that your depth is usually crap. LOL. It still is.

Picks that can turn into top QBs don’t come around all that often. It looks like you need to go QB over MHJ. I have the 1.02 and understand the pull, but I need a QB as well. Our 1.01 said he was taking MHJ, but has since changed his mind. I’ll have to contend with the sadness of having to pass on an incredible WR to fill a position of need with a top candidate.

Took over an orphan a year ago, heading into year #2.
Can this team win NOW or am I a year or two away?
12-man, 1 ppr, TEP (2 total ppr), we start qb-rb-rb-wr-wr-wr-te-superflex-flex-flex.
Right now I have picks 1.02 (Williams or Harrison), 1.06 (Bowers, Odunze, QB3), 2.02, 2.04

TEAM starters bold, depth in parenthases

Cousins, Goff (MWhite, Wentz)
Bijan, Brian Robinson, ZWhite (Allgeier, McLaughlin, Hines)
DJM, Higgins, JSN, Downs (RMoore, SMoore, Atwell, DPJ, Iosivas, Hutchinson, CJones, DParker, Campbell)
Ferguson (Kraft, Tremble, Trautman)

If I'm not even close, I may try to move Cousins or Goff.

Decent squad but aside from Bijan/Goff, I think your best pieces are "nice" but not good enough to form a true contender.

The biggest issue I see is a lot of players have to outperform 2024 expectations for this roster to contend. ZWhite has to prove to be that guy for an entire season. DJM has to overcome the addition of a T12WR taking a few targets away from him. JSN has to step up significantly. BRob, who might be my favorite NFL underdog, has to keep it going under a new regime and offensive scheme. Whatever rookies you end up with will be ... rookies we don't yet know how they will produce.

A lot of pieces I'd like to roster, but not enough proven heat. Nothing to be ashamed of, but likely not a serious contender in 2024. FWIW, I'd keep Goff.

I'm not taking Maye or Daniels over Harrison. If Williams falls to me, I'll take him. I'm also trying to get the 1.01, but IDK if I have the ammo for it. I offered Cousins + 25 1st (early) and he passed. I added the 2.04 and 25 2nd (early) but IDK if it's enough. He uses KTC and THAT offer would be 16,000 to 12,000 in his favor. We'll see.

Plenty of ways to get qbs, don’t reach for one out of desperation (unless you believe they’re equal in value to marv, which some do I suppose. I do not). Trade down if anything or just take the stud wr.

I tend to agree. However I'm reluctantly landing on the POV that CW should be the 1.01 in SF. I'm fine with passing on the others for MHJR. But the moves the Bears have made make the situation for CW so enticing. They're doing all the things that CAR didn't do. (Side note - so are the Titans for Levis).
