Ok apologies, this won't be the most exciting post, and my league's draft is SEVERAL months away. For team in signature, do you like any of the waiver wire players listed below over the fringe players at the end of my roster and if so, make your case. Thanks!

Note: League is 16 teams, NOT SF nor TE premium.

Tutu shouldn't be on waivers. I'd also roster Agholor and Granson, if you have space.

Appreciate the responses! So far I've picked up Atwell and Granson, dropping Josh Dobbs and Xavier Gipson, who I don't think I'll miss.

I will have a closer look at the QBs and Agholor.

For what it's worth, I'd hold Dobbs over Tyrod. We know what Tyrod is and Dobbs actually puts up good fantasy numbers when he has the chance.

At the same time, in 1QB leagues, I wouldn't roster any backup QB's.

Thanks, I definitely agree with your second point during the offseason. The Brock Purdy owner would likely pay nothing for Dobbs right now. In fact I didn't even ask. Backup QBs for the most part are not held after we cut down to 16 players before our draft, unless they are high upside guys AND have a good chance of starting early.

Tommy Tremble is penciled in as the starter for the panthers. No idea if he’s good or not, but he’s a good enough athlete. In a 16 teamer, how is he not rostered?

Edit: they did sign hurst and dissly, so I guess it could be any of them. But still, tremble is a decent dart throw.

That is a very fair question! I just checked using the CBS "Roster Grid" function and noticed that:

- 15 kickers are being held! Now, I get holding a consistent difference maker like Butker and Tucker and MAYBE a few more. But there are FIVE teams in my league holding TWO kickers in the offseason! That to me is bonkers. I'd rather hold any upside position player, and agree that Tremble would qualify as such.
- Most teams seem like they have a stud TE or a promising TE, so maybe they're not looking deeper? I don't know though, one team has Gesicki, Hooper, and Allie-Cox and it seems like they'd want a little more at the position?
- I may have mis-spoke a bit above about QBs. There are some QBs held now that seem very unlikely to matter in 2024, including: Stidham, Mullens, DeVito, Bagent, Lance, and others. Maybe it is possible managers in my league have fresh memories of the dozens and dozens of QBs that made starts in 2023. (A quick Google search says 66 QBs started in 2023. If that sounds like a lot, the same Google search says 68 started in 2022!)

So yeah, there are some high upside players one would think shouldn't be available in a league this size. It's also the case that only roughly half the teams (or less) worry about their 22nd, 23rd, and 24th players in March. Lol.
