Mike Williams' contract is up to $15mil. We don't know the breakdown yet. That's very different than the presumptions here that it's $15mil guaranteed. We'll see what the terms are later.

The Jets had better options? What were they? Rodgers got hurt last year, that sucked. He is old, but has a fantastic arm and one of the few QBs that can overcome terrible coaching. That is a necessity to playing QB for the Jets. Oh, and he is also one of the few proven Super Bowl winning QBs in the league today and not too far removed from multiple league MVPs.

Agree. Hindsight is always 20/20. Had Rodgers stayed healthy, even as a shell of his former self, they would have had a much different season.

Completely agree. With him they’re easily a playoff team last year, considering their defense almost made it happen without an even marginally competent offense.

This is really interesting. Cooper’s contracts is $20M this year and then he’s a FA. They’re paying Jeudy like they’re setting him up to be the WR1 next year… which is interesting given he has only flashed and hasn’t shown sustained production yet.

I’m secretly hoping for a 5th year breakout… but realistically believing I’ll be disappointed again and stuck holding a turd sandwich.

This FA has been just amazing but this is one of the few that is an absolute head scratcher. I’m still trying to process what I read.
