Fields for Higgins

Postby stockerj » Sat Mar 16, 2024 5:06 pm

Sig 3

With recent news of Fields going to Steelers, a Steeler fan reached out for him. 2qb sf. He has the 1.04, and I tried to swap picks of 1.07 and fields for 1.04. He didn’t want it lol
But now we’re at Higgins, I’m not a huge fan of Higgins cause he’s so boom or bust, but I’m lacking at wr it feels.

I’m asking him to add a little, which I probably don’t have a right to, but in qb sf fields is still young and I believe going to be the starter.

Tee Higgins? That’s a smash and the other guy is a fool if he’d do that. Fields is worth no more than any other backup QB right now in my opinion.

Elijah Higgins might be a fair trade.

Fields is a backup QB with the slim hope that he might someday develop into a starter (which is why the Steelers made this move). That is far from guaranteed. This is Tee Higgins by so much! If you added the 1.12 onto the Fields side, it would still be Tee Higgins. I’m floored that this is even on the table.

Fields is essentially done if no other team was willing to give up a conditional 6th.

Don't fool yourself. Higgins!

Higgins is worth a lot more than Fields. Russ is the starter in Pittsburgh, don't delude yourself. He should be asking you to add.

I wouldn’t get cute and try to get Higgins +, I don’t even like Higgins much and would smash Fields for Higgins straight up

No nfl team was willing to give up a 5th round pick for this guy! Mute all the Twitter self proclaimed analysts still touting this guy post trade and run away with your free Higgins.

I’ll be the first one to tell you that Higgins has been overrated to this point in his career and that Fields could bounce back some day, maybe even towards the end of 2024. But you should take Higgins and run here.

This…Higgins is clearly the same play right now.

if you have bench room to stash Fields do it. He was #6 overall in FF points in 2023 (while missing 2 games). Reality 2024 is basically a wasted year for him but if he gets on the field close to 8+ games, he could be a difference maker for your team. Honestly I wouldn’t care if he made his FF points by taking an Uber to the end zone as long as he gets the points. lol.

Fields is garbage.
Fields is not an NFL starter for 2024, and probably never again.
Even if Fields starts again, he will play so bad he'll get benched ... again.

Do yourself a favor and trade him for Higgins. Or EMoore.

You could see it in his facial expressions on the field. He doesn’t want to put in the work to hone his craft.
