I was really hoping he might be Russ' new version of Lockett but nnnnnnope. I think he is a top 5 separator in the NFL but I have no idea what to expect from Bryce 2.0

Looks like a 6/7 pick swap and Donte Jackson. This may be the thinnest I've seen the Steelers WRs in decades.
I'd guess you could say it's slim Pickens

And well, I guess this means more poor QB play for Diontae? Dude just can't catch a break. Guess I'm hoping for some serious sophomore improvement from Bryce...
At least Young has someone who can get open to throw to this year. Can't be any worse than last year.
While true, I'm left wondering how much BETTER it can be than last year. Hopefully much better.
Look what Adam Thielen did last year. The rose-colored glasses view is that Diontae will take that role and do more with it, even without improvement from Bryce being necessary.

Feels like a push for Diontae vs. last year. He averaged ~11 PPG in PPR, I'd expect the same or slightly better. Ideally he's bench depth but is a starter in a lot of formats.

I feel like the only reason Ridley wouldn't have signed by now is if he and the Jags have an agreement in place but are waiting until this afternoon to sign so they only give ATL a 3rd. Shady, but smart if it works out. Kirk, Ridley, and Gabe, with Engram at TE and a better OL, maybe there's reason to be optimistic Lawrence bounces back in a big way.

Being a Dointae owner, this doesn't make me happy but either did PIT last year. Hoping a change of scenery will better serve him. <fingers crossed>

Don't own any Diontae anymore I don't think, but I like the landing spot. Good check down option for Bryce, who throws short a ton. Can actually get separation... Could be a PPR steal

Agree. I think its obvious if they do resign Ridley. I was going to post this when someone said the Jags have moved on from Ridley (despite all their public comments of wanting to keep him) but I couldn't find the trade compensation details. I did read it wss a timing thing in regards to the 2nd vs 3rd round compensation.
I do not think it is shady, its the terms of the trade. Ridley is free to sign with anyone, but if the Jags are willing to offer a comparable offer, I'd think Ridley stays with the Jags. Ridley's hometown is in FL, the Jags know what they are doing.

This is my thought as well. HATED him in Pittsburgh last year and even more this year as his style / game is the complete opposite of what Wilson has excelled at in the past.

He'll have less target competition in Carolina, on a team that should throw significantly more, and have a ton of garbage time stats to accumulate. If 33 year-old Adam Thielen can go for 100 / 1,000 as PPR WR #17, I think that's a realistic outcome for Diontae (possibly with some additional upside as Thielen really tailed off as the season went on).

I wanted nothing to do with Diontae in my starting lineup in PIT, but now I think he's a solid WR #3 or great FLEX option.

How long does it take for Renfrow to reunite with Watson? Has to happen, right? Still one of the biggest moments in college football lore.

Texans feel like they patiently made the smartest moves this offseason. Steelers looked good with Russ and Queen but I didn't like them shipping Diontae.

This was probably the most fun free agency period I can remember. The RBs and Cousins really made for interesting fantasy shake ups.

x3

The leagues I have Diontae are full PPR, start 3 WRs and 2 more flexes. I’ll have no issues rolling him out most weeks.

Headline on Big Cat Country (Jags Website) is Ridley expected to sign at 4:01pm. I'd say this makes the Jaguars FA a lot better. Now they just need to hand Allen a monster contract and land a quality CB and DT in the draft.

100% agree. I went back and looked at the past year's... Lot of money given out, but the top players didn't typically have the ball in their hands. Defiantly been a roller coaster this year. I'm generally happy with the results as it relates to my squad.
