Levis price check

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Levis price check

Postby Dan49erFaithful » Sat Mar 09, 2024 1:21 pm

I have Levis in a league I’m rebuilding in but don’t really want to keep him as I don’t have a whole lot of faith he’ll ever amount to much. Ideally I’d like to flip him for draft cap. What would be an appropriate price for him in a 14-team SF TEP(1.5)?

Dude with a job in a shallow pool. I’m not in any 14 teamers, but I’d have to assume such a deep SF league makes any starting QB worth a 1st, no?

I have him on my squad and feel similarly about his outlook. The problem is everyone in my league seems to not place any value on him either. I think it’s likely a situation where you just hold and hope. There’s no real sense in moving him for anything less than about the 1.08 since he’s a starting QB.

What draft capital do you have this year? Unless you believe he's going to outright fail, you're talking about getting rid of your only bye week/injury replacement QB starter. He'll start for whoever you trade him to, I would think. Based on current projections, that would make him the #5 QB in this class? So, pick 1.09/1.10 would be the lowest I'd look to go today. Preferably, I'd like to get to 1.07 and draft his replacement, but that seems ambitious during rookie pick fever season.

Right. Levis or JJM? I'm taking Levis as things stand on March 9th.

If the rumors about the way the NFL feels about JJM are true and he goes top 15, I’m going JJM. Of course, this time last year Levis was getting pumped up too, so who knows what actually ends up happening. As it stands today, I say toss up with a slight edge to Levis maybe because he already a starter. I anticipate that the answer will be JJM by the time the draft is done though.

Anywhere in the first would be better draft capital than Levis got and I can’t imagine loving his weapons in TN right now. I’m going JJM if he gets 1st round capital over Levis

I'm curious how much does his value drop in a 1 QB bestball league? A mid 2nd, or a couple 3rds?

Agreed. It will probably be JJM after the draft. Probably.

I like Levis and what I saw this past year but the Titans will ruin him like they do most of there QBs, he has no O line, very few weapons , hopefully the GM does some good things but we have heard this before in TN. If JJM goes anywhere but NE im hopping on that train with top 15-20 capital.
16 teamer
QB T Law, R Wilson
rb- Mixon,pollard, J Hill, conner,
WR-Chase,Lamb,T Hill, R Bateman, C sutton, boyd
Te Kelce, Waller, Fant,Evertt,
1qb,2-3rb,3-5wr,1-2 TE
Full IDP

Team 2 recent rod 16 team SF/TEP(2pt PPR) 1-2 QB, 2-3 RB, 3-5 wrs and 1-2 TE full IDP.
QB A rod, M willis and H Hooker
rb not squat T Bigsby, Chris R, Z evans. J kelly, C patterson, and J mcluaghlin.
WRs chase, J Addison, T McLaurin, C ridgley , A Losivas, M hollins
TE Kelce, D Belligner, T Conklin

I wouldn’t be so concerned about NE as a landing spot anymore. It’s a new coach, new era type situation. We don’t know what to expect there anymore. Sure, it was a guy that was already on the payroll they promoted, but I still am cautiously optimistic that things will look a lot different there now.

Same, I assume they trade down for Jj, but if they don’t and take him anyway at 1.3 that’d be quite the statement
