I was disappointed with his usage as a rookie. But maybe there's some hope here.
Hold.

Even though it was very, very low volume, Mims looked like the explosive playmaker he was billed as to start the season. But he trailed off pretty quickly and didn't play much. I think coaching played a big part, but he also had his own struggles.

His odds don't look great right now. But, he did have a strong age-adjusted production profile entering the league and got the DC to back it. If you can re-roll by getting any 2nd round pick in this class for him, I think he's a sell.

I don’t know what happened the 2nd half of last year, but there’s something to be said of Peyton moving up to select him with his first pick in his tenure in Denver. He looked great with limited targets last year… part of me wonders if Peyton was trying to pump up Jeudy and Wilson (knowing they weren’t part of the longer term plans) so that they could get some trade value out of them. It didn’t work, but kinda the only thing that explains the usage last year.

And also have to believe they could have gotten more for Jeudy before the year or mid-season last year.

This is where I'm at too. 2.06 or better and I'm selling.

There's nothing wrong with holding him if you don't receive a decent offer.
However, I think Mims is a certified bust. Maybe he can be some contender's WR4/5, but I don't see anything more than that in his future. And even that is what I see as his ceiling. Personally, he's not a player I care to roster.

Sounds like I’m in the minority but he looked really good in the beginning of the year, even with small snaps. Now he should get snaps. I’m holding or buying for any 2nd (non-sf). If I sold it’d be for a first (which no one is currently going to do)

Lockett is a good player but if JSN can’t beat out a 32 year old wr then it’s a bit concerning .

Payton also said that he liked Mims a lot and they are excited for him, they just failed to get him on the field due to Jeudy playing the same spot. Now that they re-homed Jeudy, should be wheels up for Mims. I'm excited to see what he can do. He was very young coming in and while he broke out early and produced well in college, was still a little raw coming in. A full offseason should help. I've got my eye on the QB situation there as a big one

Not the same thing , jsn was a rookie and it takes time to learn the playbook , gain trust if the qb etc . I didn’t expect him to light the world on fire year 1 and tbh going for 60 plus catches and 600 plus years as a 3rd option on a low passing volume team isn’t terrible at all . I’m old enough to remember when it took wrs 2-3 seasons to break out .

3rd year breakout is in the past for a reason. Check in w JJZ, Matt Harmon or our own resident Dynasty Delorean.

I’m not saying he’s a bust, but he’s as much of a “get out now to be safe” as I’ve seen. I want my 1.06ish WR to smash, not sew doubt. You can still cash in, better to be right on someone else’s roster than wrong on yours

When Dk missed a game last year he stepped up and performed . He came on as the season went along and got better and more snaps/ routes . I’m still confident he has a long career as at least a wr2 . Who are you gonna re roll him for ? Outside of the top 4 in this class I wouldn’t trade him for Thomas , worthy , Franklin, Mitchell etc .
