3 ‘25 1sts for Chase? (Startup)

I’m in the middle of a dynasty, best ball, TE premium ( 2 PPR for TE) superflex start up.

My team so far:
QB- Burrow, Dak
RB- Cook, Pacheco, Warren, Conner
WR- Waddle, DSmith, Deebo
TE- Kincaid
Pick- 2.07
Future- 4 ‘25 1sts, 2 ‘26 1sts, 2 ‘26 2nd

We’re in the 14th round. I traded back several times early on and then ended up moving several startup picks (2 8ths, a 9th, and 11th and 14th) for future picks. It wasn’t my plan but I liked the value at that point in the draft.

Now I have an offer from the guy who took Chase in the first to send the 3 ‘25 1sts I added for Chase. I’d still have my own. Would you make this trade?

Definitely, your team is good but a WR1 would make you a true contenda

With it being bestball I think I'd rather hold the firsts for now.

I haven't really thought about it before, but I think the bestball component lowers what I'd be willing to pay top tier players in pure picks

I no longer need one of those picks to produce chase to make that trade even (unlikely to happen). I just need those picks combined to put up chase numbers every week. That seems more likely to happen.

Assuming roster size is not a constrain I keep the firsts for now.

I like the value overall for you based on the number of picks you have and adding a top end, elite asset. If you could counter with two 1sts + Cook or a similar piece and get it done, I like the deal even more.

For sure. Was just going to ask if it looked like anyone had blown the draft so far, if those were the picks. Sounds like the consensus here is that it doesn't matter what they are and it could be anything. I say go for it. If it's 1, 2, 3 that will sting, but there's no guarantee that those guys will be better than Chase. If it's more like 3, 6, 9—you can live with that. If it's second half, 6-12 it's a home run IMO. SO, I agree. Go for it. You can always try to counter with two 1sts and one 2nd but there is a risk he'll pull it and just keep Chase. I've seen things like that happen. Your call. Any of the top three WRs are great to have.

You could also try two 25 1sts and one 26 1st. IDK.
