Say you knew you wanted to upgrade your QB in a 1qb and wanted to use bijan as the bait

I've got Tua. Don't trust him long-term. Want to have an elite qb in this 12 teamer-- so if I look at a team with both Stroud and Josh Allen and hope to pounce before the draft timing (both are obviously safe from draft changes haha)

My thought is to buy Josh Allen who I think is the bees. If I traded Bijan as my centerpiece (this guys team is a cesspool at RB and the most obvious need) what type of additional assets would you look for in return? A likely mid 2025 1st? He's got the 1.07 this years. One of his primo Wrs too (devonta Smith, Pittman types?)... I just have a real limited experience trading QBs in 1qb, and not trying to short change the guy and low-ball. Just looking for realistic expectations if using Bijan is my starting point

Unless scoring is very heavily in favor of top end QBs, an early 1st at least in a 1 QB format. Robinson based on age, potential and hype is arguably the top RB in dynasty.

In a 12 team league, I'd need a young/productive WR on top along the lines you proposed. DJ and Bijan for Allen and Higgins or D. Smith or a top 3 pick (Odunze would be my cutoff honestly).

Keep BR for a QB. The difference between an Allen and a Tua isn’t as great as other positions. Heck you could just offer a mid 1st and net you a top 5 QB

I echo what the rest are saying. I see the predicament because you are sitting there without a liquid 1st to use, but I would maybe try sending Tua+Spears for Allen straight up. From my circles it seems like Spears is being valued at a late 1st right now... seems like that might be the sweet spot.

no chance in hell i consider this, cant even finish reading the post lol.

ive traded away josh allen and hes been moved again in my 1qb league with no penalty for int and .1 per carry where he is the top scorer.

when i traded him away i sent josh allen, aj dillon, eli moore and i got dak, DK, and a 23 first (ended up 1.10 i believe)

then that guy went into rebuild this year mid season and sent allen for kyler and a first.

wanted to provide some examples of deals in a 1qb where qb is highly valued and these deals are still way light of your idea/proposal

In a one qb I wouldn’t be interested in trading for Allen and pay Bijan for him. Qbs aren’t that valuable in one qb and honestly the wheels might start falling off the bus for the bills and Allen soon. I’d try acquiring a mahomes or stroud instead if you feel you needed a different qb than tua and not a guy who already has a lot of wear and tear on him

Just my two cents.

Now if you can acquire him not using Bijan, Gibbs or another highly valued piece then that’s another story but I think you’re fine with tua and Bijan in one qb

I agree with FinFan - go for Stroud but don't trade Bijan. If the Tua & Spears proposal doesn't work, what does everyone think of considering trading Andrews or McBride? Too much?

Yup definitely screwed that up lol. No clue how I said bijan there and not Allen
