Should I trade J. Taylor for K. Murray? (6 point passing TD, 10 team SF) Edit: Counter-proposal made

Curious of your thoughts on edited proposal

I can't stand Watson and would not have him in any format, but this is not the deal to move him in based on the return.

Got him to switch it to 2.02... So:

Murray and 12th overall for JT and Watson.

I think I'm a yes now... wondering if I'm crazy though

I don't think this is great value but I still think Taylor can be an elite RB and I don't think Murray is an elite QB. I could be way off here though.

I get the format and all, but I think you are better off holding and moving Taylor in season.

For clarity, I'm responding to this proposal:
Give: JT/Watson
Get: Murray/2.02
SF, 10-team

I'm doing this deal.
Murray >> JT - I don't think this is all that close in SF. I guess the 10-team thing impacts it but not enough to change my POV
Watson < 2.02 - But I don't care. I want him off my team.

The #12 pick in SF is going to yield a nice player. It may get the "top" RB in the class, a QB taken later in the NFL first round, etc. It's not nothing.

Thanks all, I know some disagreement, but I pulled the trigger. I have a pretty stacked team, besides QB2. In the last year, I've tried for every QB I have above Murray:

Offered Chase + for Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes

Offered Lamb + for Lamar Jackson, Burrow

Offered Lamb for Stroud (midway through season, Stroud worth more now)

Offered Jonathan Taylor for Anthony Richardson, Trevor Lawrence.

I was pretty instantly in on Purdy and was trying to acquire him last offseason for Mixon and Russ (which, man I wish I could've got)

So, maybe a slight overpayment in 10 team, but its been hard to get a QB2 above Watson and I think I just needed to accept value people put on top 10ish QB's if I wanted to add a 2nd one....

I’m well aware, but at a certain point, if I want to upgrade qb, I need to spend ridiculous price. Been trying for over a year. I can bitch to peopel they aren’t valuing qbs correctly, but then I’m the team starting a rb in SF spot in championship cause person told me they needed a 1 for bleep minshew

If you look at my roster construction, I was loaded everywhere else. I know this should be an overpayment, but my league is insane on qbs and I guess If 9 other owners are there, i have to buy at higher price, if I want to buy.

there is no reason to overpay when there are plenty of other cheaper options.

But there aren’t. I have Pacheco, Walker, Olave on my bench. Was starting cmc, Gibbs, Taylor, chase, lamb, aiyuk.

I just think difference between Taylor and streaming matchups of Pacheco / walker / Olave on a week to basis is < difference of Murray and Deshaun

I checked in on prices of cousins, tua, and love, in addition to above and they were shocking. Absolute best qb price I could get after 14 months of trying. So options were either this, or keep deshaun Watson as qb2. Can argue that’s better, but I guess I disagree if look at projected outcomes of my flex depth
