Have the option to trade for Marvin Mims but might have to give up Josh Downs in a secondary deal - what's the pulse on these 2 players at the moment?

Both are a toss up, in the same tier and comes down to preference. With the injuries for Denver at WR, Mims has the very short term better opportunity.

No difference. Strictly personal preference. Me? If I had to choose between the two, I'd take whoever came cheaper.

However, if Mims is really your guy, I wouldn't let Downs stop you from getting your guy.

I have had Mims a tier above Downs for a while. I would easily trade Downs for Mims. I like both, but Mims has a better profile. Better breakout age and draft capital, bigger, faster. Downs may be a more refined route runner, but I think he may be stuck in the slot whereas Mims can play outside.

Both are the same player, neither really moves the needle for me. I would say Mims for the now, Downs is in an even worse situation.

Mims fits the bill on the prototypical WR but I see a lot of inconsistencies. Downs I think can thrive in a slot role working off the RPOs Richardson will be crushing.
