Yes.. LaPorta is not the hyper athlete that Kittle is
They're pretty damn close. Or are you just being a silly goose.
He’s obviously athletic but is closer to Kelce than Kittle in terms of athletic measurables.
Just from the eye test, Kittle looks faster than Laporta. I get the measurables are pretty close (they are for a lot of players), but I don't think Laporta has that same breakaway speed Kittle has shown. Laporta is still very, very good though

Agreed. Just because LaPorta isn’t Kittlev2.0 doesn’t mean he can’t be very productive in his own right. Trying to match players on an exact 1:1 basis seems like a silly exercise to me. No 2 players are exactly alike.

Bowers is going to be over drafted in Dynasty Leagues.

Then again, the Chagers new GM may draft him, then it's going to be a complete SH@T show.

Is anyone knocking Hock down either a tier, or as a tiebreaker vs. his peers with this injury?

MCL and ACL in one tear is no joke...

You kinda got to until you see him bounce back. He’s definitely a buy low and stash TE now.

Bottom of his own tier, sure, but not out of the top 5. He's still young.

Kincaid having a brutal end to the year. Thought o was set there but with two firsts have to think about Bowers (non TEP).

Kincaid will have a lot of work to do this offseason if he wants to outright usurp Knox's snaps.

Knox is still by far the better blocker, and this new run-heavy focus with James Cook has favoured him much more.

He is as talented of a TE as any in the league. There’s nothing Kelce, LaPorta, or Hock can do that Kittle can’t do.

He’s not needed as the #1 every week, but situations change.

He’s right there behind LaPorta & Hock (due to age) for me in a tier with McBride, Kincaid, Kelce (off the top of my head)
He may be the best all around TE in the league.

The real issue for Kincaid is that Knox is a solid player that they've already extended for the next few seasons. (Cautionary tale for Musgrave and Kraft enthusiasts)

He's also not the most explosive player (yet, at least) so there really is no incenvite to force feed the ball to him. We saw even during his breakout that his advanced metrics were more promising than indicative of a true breakout so his end of season struggles are understandable.

For those that are convinced of his talents, a buying opportunity for him just opened.

A Zach Ertz, TJ Hockenson outcome is still very much in play for him long term... but I could see it taking multiple years or another Knox injury.

I'd like to see Kincaid fill into the Cole Beasley/Late stage Larry Fitz role. Just a reliable guy that can get open on short to intermediate routes and rarely drops a pass. Able to set the team up for 2nd and medium-short or keep the chains moving in important moments, and good in the redzone. Seems well within the realm of possibility and there is still upside since he has shown he can be a mismatch all over the field during his nice stretch of games this year

Kincaid had a very nice week and it was much needed. This week is must win so I assume they use him more again. Dawson Knox is very likely on the roster next year based on his contract but I think we could see Kincaid become a more targeted passer next year as he matures. He only needs 15 yards to top 600 which based on early season usage would be a fairly successful rookie year. I'm hoping he can produce as a top 6-10 guy next year but with Njoku coming on along with some others like Kmet that could be a tall task.

In other news I'm very interested to see where Bowers slots in this summer. I think outside of Laporta if he lands in the right spot with Hockenson hurt and Andrews aging up he could land safely in the 2-5 range. Laporta, McBride and Hockenson seem safe to stay in the top 3, 4 and Kincaid could be right there with him.
