2023 Injury Thread

I wonder if this is the injury that really torpedoes his career. I had him up until he was traded, he was rarely 100% in DET with nagging ankle injuries I believe. Now a catastrophic knee injury could really take away what level of athleticism he had left. I really hope he comes back and doesnt miss a beat, but man has this guy's legs cone through the gauntlet in the NFL

Nobody has ever come back from a torn leg cone and performed at a high level.

I feel like he had already lost his burst with those ankle/back injuries or whatever had had before, so not sure this will be so bad for him. He wasn’t succeeding via burst anymore to begin with. But anyway, this isn’t good. Just don’t think it’s a death sentence.

Team 1 in sig was out of contention this year, and a contender offered me Herbert & Andrews for Hurts & 2024 2.08 right before the deadline. Andrews seemed like a luxury at the time, but value is value, so I took it. Now I’m really glad I did.

On a related note, Hock will be up for auction in my salary cap/contract league. Are we thinking he’s a buy low or stay away?

I'm buying. TE is terrible and Hock has proven himself to be a difference maker. Obviously the injury carries risk that he never returns to form but I'd bet against that. And in SC you can always put him on a couple year contract and know you're getting your money back soon either way. SC gives you the flexibility to add old players and risky players more so than traditional dynasty. I like it for that reason.
