I "benched" him this week in bye. I had browning and Stafford going. I will be playing him next week with the matchups.

I wish I benched him this week for Goff! Imagine saying that at any point in the last half-decade and it not being a ludicrous statement...

I benched him this week in a first round playoff game and watched him score 0.14 points more than Lamar Jackson who I did start! I still think it was the right move and depending on the matchups may do it again there

Pittman now out with a concussion, not a real surprise considering the hit

That was tough. Feel bad for Pittman. Kazee, too. Wasn't dirty. Unfortunate, the ball was a bit overthrown, and Pittman layed out, he was already engaged in the breakup, really nothing he could do. He used his shoulder, and that was once a clean football hit. So tough to play D now. He was in great position, to breakup a pass. Just one of those things, in this game. Hope Pittman is OK.

Apparently the league pegged it as a dirty hit as they suspended Kazee for the rest of the season "for violating playing rules intended to protect the health and safety of players." Tough break for the Steelers

Yep. Was going to hop on to say that just in case people were waffling. Really weird development! Geno active, but starting the healthier Lock (probably the right call). Geno could play in a pinch, but I wouldn't expect to see him out there. At least for those who start Lock, that would suck if for some reason they decided to play Geno in the 2nd half.

In that case, thats on him. players who routinely risk and cause injury to others should not be in the league.

I don't see an issue with the hit, as the didn't really have the time needed to stop, he led with the shoulder, but the dive sort of took Pittman into a worse hit (near the neck). By the rules, it's illegal, but I personally don't understand what Kazee is supposed to do, once he's committed on his angle to make the hit, it's too late once Pittman dives, changing the angle. The ball placement was the reason Pittman got hit where he did, but the league suspended him for multiple infractions. It wasn't a suspension solely based on the Pittman hit.
