I think Bijan fumbled , might have had something to do with it .

In a rain game. He's a top RB, he doesn't have a fumbling issue, IF that's the reason, all the more reason to fire him. He's a joke. How about that Ridder INT, across his body, down by the GL? Did he bench him after that atrocious INT? Nope. Smith sucks, a fumble isn't an excuse for the usage, and game plan today. He's just not a good coach.

I know it’s frustrating, I won’t try and argue he isn’t the most talented RB on the roster and should be getting more work, I won’t even argue Smith isn’t a bad coach but some old school guys value reliability and ball security . Rain game or not he was the only player to fumble and 3 lost fumbles in 169 carries is horrible actually so he does need to improve his ball security. Allgeier by comparison has 370 carries without a fumble in the nfl yet .

Edit : Ridder is horrible but who else do they have ? Like Pickett he is the king of the bums

It's garbage, sorry. Not even talking FF stuff. RB's are in a ton of tackles that are high fumble situations. If it's a constant thing, I get it, but Smith's offense, and his track record, isn't good enough to start pulling that garbage. Bijan is the player that gives you the best chance at success, being out there, even after that play. A drive, or a few plays? Sure. Fine. McVay just did that with Kyren Williams. Kyren was balling, then fumbled, on a good play by the defender. He pulled Kyren for half a dozen plays. Gave Freeman a couple of GL carries. On 3rd and goal from the 1, he put Kyren back out. TD. That's how you do it, you don't hurt your team for some BS narrative.

It's a joke. They scored 7 points. The Ridder INT was the most egregiously bad throw in the red zone, in recent memory. How has he earned more than Bijan? Why not put Heinecke out there, after that garbage? IF you're going to punish Bijan for that fumble, it makes no sense, that you don't take that joke of a QB Ridder to task for that throw. It was atrocious, in a low scoring game, to throw that. He's got sh@t for brains, as a QB, and it's pretty obvious. You absolutely bench him after that throw, if you are going to do that to Bijan, who is way more consistent, and good.

How can your team follow you, if that's your process? Smith, hopefully gets fired, after the Saints/Bucs winning, and he misses the playoffs, because he's not a good OC, and he's a worse HC. He has no leadership skills based on his decisions, nor does he have adaptability as an offensive game planner. He's just not qualified to do his job, at this point, and it's pretty obvious.

Losing to Carolina and scoring only 7 points when you badly need to win should be enough, I would hope.

Atlanta has too much talent on offense to be one of the worst offenses in the league. Sure, Ridder is the biggest reason they aren't, but Smith is a brutal play caller and doesn't optimize any of his three Top 10 skill position draft picks.

The weather conditions were ugly in this game, but I'd argue it's still a loss that should cost a coach their job.

Purdy deserves MVP, out of the QB's. Dak not playing well, and Purdy is balling, albeit a weak opponent, but he's just accurate, and on time.
