Welcome to Odunze island, baby.

I have #6 in a single qb league. Vanilla scoring. Who’s good and going to be there?

You're currently on the outside looking in of the first major tier break in single QB. You're hoping that someone falls to you like Odunze or Bowers. More likely you're looking at Egbuka and Keon Coleman.

https://keeptradecut.com/devy-rankings? ... s=WR|RB|TE

If you put "2024" into the search bar of that, it'll filter and give you a quick and dirty idea of the current landscape.

There will be solid players there. Decent chance someone takes a RB ahead of you - not everyone will subscribe to the DLF Forum POV that this RB class is terrible and doesn't warrant consideration. And maybe Bowers goes too early.

I agree with Mild that the likely candidates are Odunze, Coleman, Egbuka. And these are all players I'd love to roster in PPR. Odunze and Egbuka are already off the board in my fairly shallow devy league. (shallow for devy.)

QB3 or WR3 most likely at 6. If Penix or Daniels go top 10 then it's probably one of them. If not, I'm in om Odunze as WR3 at the moment. I think he would be up there with all the WR from last class

Gambled on the wrong horse. Could've had the 1.05, but ended up with 1.08.

Just starting into rookie prep. This class looks pretty deep in the first round from a dynasty prospective, no?
16 team league
1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 Flex (RB/WR/TE)
26 upman rosters - full point ppr
2015, 17, 18, 19, 20 Champs

QB: Watson, Nix
RB: Bijan, Gibbs, Connor, Benson
WR: Olave, Addison, Flowers, Rice, Sutton, Downs, Mims, Tillman
TE: Kittle, Goedert, Woods

Tons of WR, but we already have a ton in dynasty. RB is non-existent at the top. Bowers is a good TE but not much outside of that for now. QB are pretty good, but waiting to see where they land

That's what I was figuring. A handful of WRs, 2 QBs, Bowers, and factor in a manger taking a RB or two in the early first inevitably. 🤞 there's a solid player at 8 available

For sure. I think when people talk about how bad the RB class is, it's more about profiles and expected draft pedigree.

Of course, a random RB getting opportunity and volume can negate those things in the short-term. The 2014 RB class is a good comparison. Maybe 2019 at the absolute best case, except without a Josh Jacobs going first round.
Yeah, but the point is, there isn't a RB worth a first, in a typical class. You ARE correct. It's a WR class. There will likely be a RB or three who are relevant, but the pedigree looks to be so dicey, it's as likely a guy taken in the 3rd round of a rookie draft, as a first, or a lot closer to that reality, than a typical year. The odds are less in your favour of hitting on your RB in the first this year, compared to most.
Agreed. I think we're looking at a potential Dameon Pierce situation with an RB or 2, where we launch a mediocre talent because of volume.

For those that are scared to take Bowers high because of Pitts just remember what Pitts was valued at after his rookie season. If he puts up 1k yards he'll be valued at 3 1sts. Obviously that's not a given but definitely very realistic and probably more likely than him busting.
