Rashee Rice Value

How are we valuing Rashee Rice? I can't decide if he's a hold or sell. He's looked good on limited opportunity, but the chiefs refuse to play him on a ton of snaps and it's all short stuff with YAC. PFF has him scoring really well.

Got offered a late 25 first and third (16 teamer).

This one is certainly a delimma. Rice is talented but on a team that spreads the ball around a ton. The off let would be fine in a 10 teamer but 16, I would hold

I would rather hold with what Rice has shown over a late 1st two years out in a 16 team format. Seems like a lot of hope to put into a pick. I can see it both ways though...

Mahomes and Reid trust him more than Skyy Moore, MVS is a track runner who can’t catch and Toney can’t stay healthy so even if they draft a WR next year he’s at least the #2 WR option. I’m holding him.

I think he's definitely a hold in the general sense. A late 1st is one the edge of acceptability for me. I could understand accepting the offer, but I think I'd rather hold and hope Rice earns a slightly higher target share next year and makes a move to a 1000yd/8TD guy.

For now, I don't project Rice as a 1300yd/12TD stud, but it's not too wild to consider slightly possible. If he gets to be a 1100yd/8TD guy, I could be happy with him on my roster. I think that is possible for him.

I'd hold for that price too. I'd probably want a late 1st or early 2nd+ in a 12 team league so in a 16 team I'd want a pick around the 12-13 range assuming SF, 8-9 in non SF
