Hi all -
Now with Burrow out for the year I thought I would reach out to the Burrow owner (PW league below), who is tied with me in 3rd (last spot of the playoffs) at 4-6 and who only has Stafford as his other QB. Trying to put together something… what do you think of these ideas???
I give T-Law, get Burrow. Would I need to add anything, especially due to his predicament?
He also has Chase… So if I wanted to go after that combo, I could offer something like this…
I give T-Law, Addison, 24 1st for Burrow and Chase.
Just thinking out loud at this point and of course looking for your opinions!!

Lawrence has had a disappointing year but he still has enough promise that his value is solid. I think the first deal is preference but I could see that being an option. I also really like the second deal to upgrade to Chase for the price if you can. Jefferson is looming so Addison may slow down in the short term. Chase is likely to have a tougher end of the season without Burrow but is still a much better asset than Addison + a 1st long term.

I would take either deal for you, but much prefer the second/Chase deal.

I think your first offer (TLaw for Burrow) has a chance to be accepted in this situation.
I don't think the second offer has much of a chance at being accepted. IMO, Addison+1st is at least two 1sts short of Chase.

Like option 1. It has more of a chance of getting accepted. Start including Chase, then you aren’t in the ballpark and it prob gets rejected as-is. The Chase owner prob is contemplating throwing in the towel in 2023 and won’t part with his prize asset for the next 10 years cheaply.

Thanks, Troll. I actually talked, like with voices and everything, with him. He loves the Burrow/Chase combo so it’s going to be hard to get just Burrow… at least for right now. I’ll keep trying and let you all know how it goes.

Kind of like when JJ went down, there is a window here to get Burrow and Chase if they are on contending teams. I think Burrow is easier to get as I wonder if Chase owners will face the fact that he's about to be G.Wilson. G.Wilson is fine but he's not going to help you win a '23 championship. I have offers out in my SF league where I am out of contention - waiting to see what kind of responses I get.
