I’m listing my lineup for total disappointments based on position and preseason hype. What does yours look like?


Here is mine:

QB: TLaw
QB: D Jones
RB: JT
RB: Stevenson
WR: Ridley
WR: Lamb
TE: Freiermuth
TE: Njoku

QB: Fields - he's recovered some of his lost SF value, but yuck
QB: Watson - maybe the QB who has lost the most value, can't start him
RB: Bijan - maybe I'm trolling a little but he hasn't lived up to expectations, yet
RB: Stevenson - just meh. which is almost worse than total bust because you keep trotting him out there
WR: Ridley - week one was the I told you so false hope moment of the FF season
WR: Higgins - the promise was consistent mid-range WR2 (safe pick in round 3 redraft) but you can't start him
TE: Chig - what happened? Went from borderline TE1 to maybe unrosterable in some leagues
TE: Njoku

Honorable mention: G.Wilson.

Note: Tried to avoid injury guys like Chubb.

Clarifying this is my all-disappointment team, meaning the players at each position that I personally predicted to have a great season:

QB - Daniel Jones
QB - Jordan Love
RB - Rhamondre Stevenson
RB - JK Dobbins
WR - Quentin Johnston
WR - DKMetcalf
WR - Amari Cooper
TE - Friermuth
TE - Okonkwo


This list almost completely ignores injured players, because that's somewhat unpredictable. Dobbins is the only one on solely for injury.

Edited Post: This thread lists MANY of the players my team rosters. This hurts! But yeah, many of them came through this week so not all is lost.

Of the guys that I roster on at least one team (dynasty/keeper/redraft)....

QB: Watson - I bought in (and I still am bought in to some degree, given the contract), but it has not been pretty
RB: Taylor - Heavily invested. He's flashed it, but he's leaving a lot of meat on the bone, and Moss is cleaning it up
RB: Jacobs - I guess my expectations weren't super high, but they were higher than this
WR: Ridley - Probably should've expected inconsistency after his absence, but it's been annoying. Glad I stayed away in dynasty
WR: Olave - He and Carr are just clearly not on the same page
TE: Pitts - Still gets a pass from me based on situation. But getting outproduced by Jonnu is concerning
FLX: Sanders - I think it might be over?
SF: Pickett - I don't roster Kenny Pickett anywhere, but I take every chance I can to shite on him because he and Najee caused the death of my Steelers fandom. Dude is allergic to 20pt fantasy games, or just generally good QB play. He'll continue to be carried by an otherwise decent roster to middling-purgatory. Good enough to take them out of range of a rock-solid QB prospect. Never good enough to take them anywhere meaningful.

Quick bonus round: I'll just list my whole team in one of my keeper leagues because I won the championship last year, had an extra 1st round pick this year (took ARSB with it), and fully expected to dominate this season. But this team was somehow the epitome of disappointment, starting 0-7 and just this week getting its first win!

RB: Hall, Saquon, Gibbs, Warren, Roschon
WR: ARSB, Puka, DJM, Ridley, Diontae
TE: Muth, Kincaid

I blew it up last week though. Loaded with picks next year.

What?!? I'm assuming some of their ^ big games just didn't line up? Like when DJM went bonkers, was everyone else quiet that week?
