Quentin Johnston vS tank dell

Just curious how close in value people feel these 2 are? QJ is obviously a big faller to this point and tank has looked good with his opportunities. Specifically on a team building more for next year and beyond, how close do you feel these are and what type of package would you be willing to do if moving qj in a tank deal.

I think both are gambles in their own rate long term. Johnston I would lean for consistency hope in time. Dell has the massive ceiling but could be a boom or bust type.

I’d smash Dell side on this. I think you have to add something significant to get from QJ to Dell.

I was a QJ stan after the NFL draft. I was very high on Dell in the preseason. I have QB on my team 1, and Dell on my team 2.

I maintain hope QJ is a slow grower, but I'm all in on Dell. I'd never trade my Dell for QJ. On the other hand, if I had an offer of Dell for my QJ, that's a smash accept for me.

The difference is Dell has proven he has NFL quality skills. QJ has not. When both guys have been in the NFL for the same length of time, that's an easy decision for me to make.

I'm not completely writing off QJ. I still think he could turn it around and be a good fantasy player. Could. But I'm not certain, because he was given a golden opportunity (great QB arm, good offense, injured WR ahead of him on depth chart) and he can't even average two catch per game (or 10 yards/gm) in five weeks. That's a red flag I can't ignore. I think he has a chance, but he sure hasn't proven anything yet. Dell has proven something.

In a 1:1 comparison between QB:Dell, based on the first third of the season it's an easy decision for me to choose Dell.
