Better stash Abanikanda or Trey Palmer?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Better stash Abanikanda or Trey Palmer?

Postby esulek80 » Thu Oct 12, 2023 7:23 am

I am a bit torn as I felt Abanikanda was the better prospect/higher ranked player but he's also stuck behind Hall, Cook, and Carter while Palmer is seeing some playing time and possibly more to come with Evans banged up. Though from what I have been hearing Cook is about toast and likely is not back next season so that would mean one less guy ahead of Abanikanda.

Would the better approach be to go with Palmer who is seeing action or hold what many consider the better prospect in Abanikanda when I do not need production from either this season since they would be at the very back end of my roster? Roster displaying my RB's and WR's is down below in my signature if that would be any factor.

Palmer for me. Abanikanda has a heavy workload back in front of him outside of injury. Not a ton of upside there. Palmer has good but older WR's ahead of him, so he could continue to eat into the depth chart a bit in time.

I literally just added Palmer to stash him. Like killer above I also generally prefer to stash the rb's, but I think Palmer has a shot to produce this year and next. Abanikanda has Hall, Carter ahead of him for awhile and Cook until seasons end. He needs a injury to get any amount of playing time.
