D Smith or Addison + 2nd 2024

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

D Smith or Addison + 2nd 2024

Postby jdacunha » Thu Oct 12, 2023 10:13 am

I was offered D Smith for Addison and my 2024 2nd rd pick. I am in contention for a top playoff spot. Team is below:

Herbert, Goff, Purdy
Mixon, Hall, Pacheco, Harris, Warren
Chase, Deebo, Addison, Watson, Kirk
Goedhert / Pitts

Is this worth giving up a 2nd to upgrade? I don't have a 1st already.

Smith is the better asset for me. Addison could see a nice value spike in the coming weeks with Jefferson out but I still prefer Smith overall. I think the value is close-ish here though.

I like both WRs a lot, but prefer Smith by a good bit. Addison is a great piece also, but I think some may be looking to cash in on Jefferson’s IR stint. At any rate, I’d gladly pay a 2nd to upgrade Addison to Smith.
