Team 1 gives: Keenan Allen & Travis Kelce (2ppr for TEs)

Team 2 gives: Devonta Smith, Puka Nacua

Dynasty #3—4.08 (me)
Dynasty #4–4.10 (right after I took Hull OOF)
Superflex #1—added off WW September 30th. No FAAB, just FCFS.
Superflex #2—added on WW for $114/1000 FAAB.
How was he still on waivers September 30th? There were 3 weeks sample by then.
Could have been a league where waivers don't run daily. I have a bestball league where waivers run once every few weeks (which I hate). But then again that wouldn't make sense with FCFS, unless by First Come First Serve, he means with a waiver order

Fixed that for you

It’s nearly enough to put me off fantasy football. I can’t even enjoy his success or root for him

With all the scouting and analytics the intangibles are becoming more important than ever and we don’t really have access to personalities and drive/work ethic. Seems more like a crap shoot all the time.

Yes, I’m a little bitter about it.
Haha I remember saving this for a few weeks to see if he fell off a bit or not. I think he's closer to Rice than Renfrow :wtf: cant believe I'm saying that. Still want to see what happens if/when Kupp returns, but I think they can both get plenty of targets and possibly open things up for each other

Couldn't agree more about the 2nd part. At least with analytics, we can find some deep stashes like ARSB. Puka isn't that far off of him either, but ARSB still has a way better profile, despite both being day 3. Nothing really jumps out to me when I researched Puka this offseason. Looking at day 3 guys, I want to see something elite as far as measurables or talent and whiffed on Puka.

Over/Under 107 receptions. That was his 4 yr college total. He's on pace for something like 220 targets and 165 Rec lol

Y'all sending two 1sts for Puka?

Team 2 could use a high-end WR and I've got two '24 1sts....though I also have Kupp

One is mine and should be late (4-0), the other is a middling team IMO but is currently 3-1....also number 2 in max points so probably better than my assessment)
Team 1:
12-team | PPR | SuperFlex | 0.5-TEP
Start: 1QB/2RB/2WR/1TE/3FLX/1SF
QB: Herbert, Kyler, Baker, Jimmy G
RB: Taylor, Saquon, Javonte, Conner, Lloyd, R.Davis, Vidal, Tracy
WR: Chase, Aiyuk, Olave, Diggs, Diontae, Hollywood, MT, Shaheed
TE: Engram, Bowers, Woods

Team 2:
12-Team | PPR | SuperFlex | 0.5-TEP
Start: QB/2RB/2WR/1TE/3FLX/1SF
QB: Mahomes, Allen, Russ
RB: Breece, JT, Swift, Javonte, Mostert, Zamir, Irving
WR: Chase, Aiyuk, Nico, Kupp, Kirk, Hollywood, MT
TE: Pitts, Njoku, Woods

Team 3:
12-Team | PPR | SuperFlex | 0.5-TEP
Start: QB/2RB/2WR/1TE/3FLX/1SF
QB: Hurts, Dak, Stafford, Z.Wilson, DTR
RB: Saquon, Swift, Achane, Kamara, Ford
WR: Jefferson, AJB, ARSB, Nico, Diontae, Wicks, OBJ
TE: Goedert, Njoku, Fant, Woods

Two firsts seems steep at this time. I'd rather pocket a first and try to send one of the late 1sts + a player + maybe a 2nd

No, I'd rather use the same two firsts and buy ARSB, Hill, Waddle, AJB, etc.

I generally agree. This is where the old adage "you know your league best" comes in - obviously I didn't include that context but here it is, I'll quickly go through every WR that I think is worth two 1sts (or close to it), beginning with those you mentioned:

ARSB/Waddle - owned by same guy - the only contender stronger than my own team (on paper anyway), won't move them
AJB/CD - you know that one guy in your league that won't trade unless he wins in a landslide? He owns AJB/CD in this league
Hill - owned by someone who's also that guy, but is also a middling contender clinging to anything that might get him to playoffs
JJ/Chase - I sent both respective owners the same deal - (London + two 1sts) - both were intrigued but ultimately passed
*Diggs - Owned by fringey contender, won't sell
*Olave/Smith - Owned by a WR hoarder, won't sell

The guys with an asterisk next to their name could maybe be convinced if they keep losing, but the WR hoarder...doubtful, as that'll be his core.

As you can see, one of the few stones left unturned here, is Puka. Ultimately, I agree that he is not YET worth two 1sts. But good lord is he trending in that direction. He is entering rarefied air with his early production. It might not be long until 2 late 1sts would look like an underpay

Would you trade ETN or Walker for Puka + a little something on top? Not sure what that something would be yet, but I know the Puka owner would be willing to add.

It'd be a pure value move since I'm already much deeper at WR than RB (team in sig), but this league trades alot so I think I could rebalance if needed.

London and two 1sts should get you something that would work. For Puka, throw a 1st at it and see what happens? I mean, you never know. Who are the guys in your league that are still worth talking to, and who do THEY have? I totally get this, have issues in a few leagues:

NEVER RESPONDS—this guy just won't respond to anything, only if it's his offer first.
LANDSLIDE—have a few of these as well, they won't trade unless they win in a landslide
BAD OFFERS—guys who really have no sense of a good trade

That leaves a few guys that are fair, balanced, reasonable, and cooperative. Hope you can find a trade.

Bingo. And yes, London + 2 1sts should get me something, but it's looking unlikely. For more context on the Puka owner, see my post on the trade thread on page 18 - (viewtopic.php?f=5&t=238269&start=255)

Wild.

The two 1sts for Puka alone was just a last ditch-effort question. Probably not getting a deal done with him at all.

I mean, Kupp SHOULD draw the top DB so...yes?

Also, just to ask again, are you all seriously offering 1st round picks for Puka right now? Is that the going rate? Anyone having luck offering up less? A 2nd, for example?
