Contender, 14 Team, 1QB, Full IDP

Trade 1: Send - J. Ford, E. Moore, and Chark
Receive - Higgins + Fluff

Trade 2: Send - D. Hopkins, T. Dell, Tillman
Receive - JSN + Fluff

Trade 3: Send - Burks, Musgrave, and Rookie LB
Receive - Kelce + Fluff

A little thin depth wise after making all these deals, but pretty happy with all three both short and long-term.

I don't have a trade to report. More so that I seem to have hit a trade wall and sent out 3 near-misses yesterday for a team that would be a juggernaut if I could land an elite WR (Team 2 in signature).

Offers I sent yesterday (offers 1 and 3 were to rebuilding teams, offer 2 was to a fellow contender, a heat check on Burrow) :

Give: London + (x2) '24 1sts
Get: Chase + Roschon
Result/Dialoge: Rejected. "Interesting offer. It'd be closer for me if I kept Roschon, and even then I wouldn't be sure."

Give: Russ + London
Get: Burrow
Result/Dialoge: Rejected. "Fair offer but I just don't think I want to move Burrow considering I'd be relying on Love/Stafford/Russ. If he weren't my anchor, I'd do it tbh"

Give: London + (x2) '24 1sts
Get: Puka + ETN + Freiermuth
Result/Dialoge: Rejected. "I think it's workable but I'm very high on ETN and not so much on London due to offense. Also, to be completely forthcoming, I'll be leaving this league after this year, so I want to keep tome key assets to make the team more attractive. Thought I should let you know since you're the commissioner."

Just thought I'd share because these near-misses were frustrating, unexpected, and hilarious lol
Team 1:
12-team | PPR | SuperFlex | 0.5-TEP
Start: 1QB/2RB/2WR/1TE/3FLX/1SF
QB: Herbert, Kyler, Baker, Jimmy G, Mariota, DTR
RB: Taylor, Saquon, Javonte, Conner, C.Evans, TDP
WR: Chase, Aiyuk, Olave, Diggs, Diontae, Hollywood, MT, Shaheed

'24 picks: 1.08, 3.05

Team 2:
12-Team | PPR | SuperFlex | 0.5-TEP
Start: QB/2RB/2WR/1TE/3FLX/1SF
QB: Mahomes, Allen, Russ
RB: Breece, JT, Swift, Javonte, Mostert, Zamir
WR: Chase, Aiyuk, Nico, Kupp, Hollywood, Kirk, MT
TE: Pitts, Njoku, Woods
'24 picks: 4.01

Team 3:
12-Team | PPR | SuperFlex | 0.5-TEP
Start: QB/2RB/2WR/1TE/3FLX/1SF
QB: Hurts, Dak, Stafford, Z.Wilson, DTR
RB: Saquon, Swift, Achane, Kamara, Ford
WR: Jefferson, AJB, ARSB, Nico, Diontae, OBJ

Got offered Jeudy and a early/mid 2nd for Olave. I rejected it but how much would you need on top of that to make that deal. I am currently in last place so it would help me solidify a high pick (maybe not after this week) but I also plan on Olave being one of the centerpieces of my rebuild.
10 team PPR 2 QB, 2RB,3WR,TE,2F,DE,LB,S,7BENCH,4TAXI, IR(Only Keep 15 in bold)
QB: Burrow, Tua, Baker , Mac, Browning
RB: Walker, Mondre, R. White, R. Johnson, Herbert
WR: Olave, Pittman, Meyers, Downs, Jameson Williams, Shaheed, W. Robinson, Noah Brown
TE: Goedert, Pitts
DE:Bosa
LB:Wagner
S:Hamilton
2024: 1.01,1.02,2.01,4.01,5.01
2025: 1st, 2nd, 2 3rds, 4th, 5th

x2. Jeudy has demonstrated almost nothing to be the centerpiece of an Olave deal.

Olave matched Jeudy's best season in his first season. That deal's off by at least a 1st. With Olave having legitimate claim to top-5 dynasty WR, it might be closer to two 1sts

Try countering with just a 1st for Puka. I mean it's CRAZY for a guy that went in the 4th/WW but why not? He keeps ETN and Freiermuth, he's not big on London, and what you really want is Puka anyway. If I got Puka in the 4th/WW it might be hard to pass on a 1st even if I think he's special. Every owner is different. Not ever Puka owner may be a true believer.

Oh I'm with you, again this is where the added context comes in, here's what happened chronologically:

- Trade sent (London+1sts for Puka/ETN/Muth)
- Declined without counter
- I message "Was that within range of an adjustment or nah?"
- He responds "I think it's workable! I'm very high on ETN and not so much on London due to offense"
- I say "Gotcha, I saw you've been collecting 1sts, thought you might be making a run at next year when London's situation will presumably improve. But no problem, I can exclude ETN. What would you be looking for or just Puka?"
- He says "To be completely forthcoming, I'll be leaving this league after this year, so I want to keep tome key assets to make the team more attractive. Thought I should let you know since you're the commissioner."

So without saying it, he told me he won't be trading me Puka. I'll explore it in other leagues where I have 1sts lol

This is exactly what I was wondering as I saw it off by a first and still wouldnt take it. Two firsts and I would be smashing accept I think

It’s just not really there at the moment. It’s like you said, by the time you factor in: landslide guy, no response guy, etc…there’s just not a great fit. I’ll need values to fluctuate or my leaguemates’ season outlook to change

Sure I could go after a guy like Hollywood Brown, but that’s not moving the needle unless the acquisition cost is low. And I don’t think my team is bad enough that I need to make a desperation play. So I think I’ve just gotta wait it out and pick my spots

Traded Kincaid, 2025 1st and 2nd for Kelce in a league I'm a strong contender in. May be an overpay but think he has several years of strong production left
