Ford is not likely to be a lead back beyond this year. As a fellow Gibbs manager, I understand the frustration, but you need to step back from the ledge. Gibbs still has way more value than Ford, and he was taken 12th overall. He'll be in the league for many years. Relax. IF you want to move him, target a guy like Garrett Wilson or Olave in a deal. Gibbs has a TON more value compared to Ford. He was a high draft pick, they won't always be up by a lot early and be in a game script that they choose to run, run and run more with Monty. He will get his touches, he's on par with what Swift had as far as touches last year at this point. Just hold him here, let him get rolling.

It may seem that way but I actually think it is more obvious than we think. We in the fantasy community just don’t want to admit it.
Swift was injured and that regime didn’t draft him. Don’t think we can compare him and Gibbs yet.
Gibbs is the big play, home run threat that they don’t trust in pass protection compared to Montgomery. They have designed plays for him that try to get him to the outside. Detroit is more than content to run the ball and burn clock when they are up.
His touches will increase as the season goes, but I don’t think he will ever be the goal line back or run out the clock back, unless Montgomery gets injured.
