You mentioned the opportunity being the draw. It'll have me going back to the Ferg Daddy well every week if this is how it's going to look:

All I'm seeing is that Zach Ertz is an unquestioned TE1

Opportunity is a great path to take talent to production. We know Ertz has the talent. If he's keeps getting this volume of opportunity, there's a good reason to predict Ertz will end 2023 with production that makes him a T12TE for the season.

Old man would've been top-5 in 2022 had it not been for injury. 10 targets week 1? Best TE production 4th round picks can buy!

I already own most of the WRs at the top of this list, but if I didn't id be trying to acquire, especially Wilson. Eventually he will have either Murray, Williams, or Maye throwing to him instead of this Dobbs character.

Also, wow at the rookie TEs. That's high end participation for week one. These guys could all be legit.

Yup, most of us saw this coming with Wilson in that barren offense. Probably won't translate much to fantasy this year and hopefully he can continue to improve to remain the starter for the future. Downs and Boutte were also higher than I thought they would be.

The TE numbers definitely surprised me at first. GB and BUF (and even DET to a lesser extent) have pretty much no one else though. They drafted them highly for a reason and these numbers are encouraging. Wishing I had more of Laporta/Kincaid

Or like PrisonMike mentioned, Sleeper also shows it for individual players in their box scores

asd, and you look like a not so nice old geezer with serious reading comprehension issues: please go back to my post and point out where do i say that his volume is not a good thing.
meanwhile, i will explain my point in simpler English, for your benefit: ferguson getting first shot was predictable and makes sense. he is nothing special, so a mediocre performance should not be a surprise.

Roll Musgrave if Watson is still out. He's the only game in town, and it's more fun.

They stopped targeting Ferg (and most of the pass catchers) once the rout was on. That's going to happen again with Zach Wilson on the other side.

You can draw this conclusion if you want, but I wouldn't be so thrilled.

That chart is Usage (ergo Opportunity). Yes, Zach Ertz was peppered with targets. But 10 targets for 21 yards is honestly kind of hard to do. He's got zero juice left.

This team is going to be bad, and it's not going to be in position to score. I heard speculation that maybe they were trying to showcase Ertz for a trade; if so, they're probably hurting his trade value more than bolstering it with a performance like that.

What's harder: 10 targets for 21 yards, OR 22 carries for 29 yards? Two of the ugliest stat lines I've ever seen.
