Roschon vs Tucker

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Roschon vs Tucker

Postby surgebird2 » Tue Sep 12, 2023 6:46 pm

Title says it all. I essentially have the option to send Sean Tucker (+ a 4th) for Roschon Johnson.

I see that Roschon's touches came mostly in garbage time, but he has the draft capital and looked good. What are the general thoughts on both backs? I'm of the opinion that neither of these guys have a strong starter in front of them and could take over even without injury.

Tucker has the easier road to heavy touches in the short term if White stumbles but Johnson has the value with being a 2nd round rookie pick.

Johnson was a 4th rd pick this year, not a 2nd, so Chicago doesn't have a ton invested into him and won't feel forced to use him. They are still high on Herbert, but I simply see a rbbc there. They still used Foreman in the game. Tucker does have the easier road to touches / taking over. I'd lean slightly towards Tucker here.
