His value is quite depressed, probably the lowest it will be until mid season when he has the chance to go up or down based on play (or lack thereof). Dak's a top 12 QB in the league. That being said, Herbert is 25 and likely to be top 10 for a long time. This is a move that likely hurts a bit short term, but will be good in a few years.
