Ridder and 2nd for Christian watson

Postby PJunior777 » Wed Aug 23, 2023 6:34 pm

Superflex team 2 in sig.

I can give Ridder and my 2025 2nd for Christian Watson. I don't love Watson but also not sold on Ridder long time, the 2nd is two years out. Value with Watson even in superflex?

WR: Tyreek Hill, Courtland Sutton, Zay Flowers, Allen Robinson, Adam Thielen, Kyle Phillips, Khalil Shakir, Metchie, Justyn Ross, Rashid Shaheed, Nathaniel Dell
TE: Goedert, Ertz

12 Team Superflex .5 PPR
QB: Tua Tagovailoa, CJ Stroud, Justin Fields, J Desmond Ridder,
RB: Breece Hall, Bijan Robinson, Khalil Herbert, Zamir White, Zack Moss,

Even with the long term risk around Ridder, I think this is an overpay for Watson. Need to see what he can do without Rodgers.

Never sell a starting QB in a SF unless it feels right. This doesn't.

I would take Watson quite easily here. I know ridder is a starting QB, but for how long? To be fair I haven't looked into him much and just kind of assume he will be replaced at the end of this year, if not sooner.

Not a fan of either, but I could see Watson lasting longer than Ridder as a starter in the league, so I'd probably do the deal.

It doesn't matter what we want. Once we get it, we want something else.

I know it's a SF, but Ridder hasn't looked good and unless he has a massive improvement this year I can see Atl moving on from him. Watson looked good last year with ARod, you can possibly stack him with Love. I think I"m going for it before Ridder's value bottoms out, I'd want the pick moved to a 3rd.

I would prefer Watson. Love has looked good so far and Watson is his WR1 and graded well by pff last year. I view Ridder as my QB3 in a SF where Watson is a WR2 with WR1 upside.
Team 1: 16 Team
QB's: Fields, Wentz,
RB: D. Harris, D. Montgomery, Kendre M.
WR: Chase, AJ Brown, Aiyuk, Bateman

WR: Godwin, JSN, Pittman, Pickens, Toney, DP Jones, S Moore
TE: Andrews, Fant, Likely
(2024) 1.03, 2.03, 3.03
(2025) Top 3 1st, my 1st

Team 3 SF, TEP, Start 11 ppr
QB: AR, Watson, Young, Levis
RB: ETN, Walker, Pierce, Akers, Pacheco, Herbert, Warren, Kelley

Is he? I see Doubs leading the team in receptions

According to the offseason he could be, but I think Watson is sitting on top of the hill until proven otherwise. As the NatureBoy likes to say, "In order to BE the man, ya gotta BEAT the man. Whoooooooo" lol

I think this is pretty good value if you believe in Watson at his current value. I don't though

I feel like that's pretty fair, but I would personally hold. Not a fan of Watson, but I get trying to move Ridder as well. My expectation for the beginning of the season is for Watson to start off slow and Ridder to show he's at least competent and actually gain a little bit of value. When that happens you might be able to get Watson for cheaper if you really wanted to.
