Indy, not protecting a rookie-deal QB and getting him hit at a league-high rate?Bronco Billy wrote: ↑Wed Aug 23, 2023 8:37 am If you want to truncate Richardson’s career, put a rookie in at RB to protect the rookie QB. IMO they’d need to sign one of the remaining vet FAs
Nahhhhh, that doesn't sound like them.
This is it right here.Kurtrambis1 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 23, 2023 5:09 am The answer is no one. Sure there will be a between the 20s runner and that could be a mix of Jackson and Hull. Or maybe Hunt or Lenny. But based off AR’s college history he isn’t going to check down enough or concede goal line touches to boost up any RB.
Sure there will be some spot weeks where one RB goes off but I don’t believe it will be consistent. Look at the Bears last year. Neither Montgomery or Herbert were consistently in your lineup.
For as much as we've steamed up AR in Dynasty because of his -potential- as a rusher and his toolset... this offense is going to be absolute dog sh-- in 2023.
He's already looked spotty against 2nd stringers playing vanilla defense this preseason. He hasn't seen a real rush yet. He was severely raw last year, and looked outright-bad for a lot of it - and we've memory pilled it because he can throw a 60 yard bomb and run fast.
There's a reason he was raw: he was injured for nearly all of his college career. He might look like Derrick Henry, but I'm not convinced he's built like him, durability wise.
It's going to be rouuuuuuuugh going in AR Year 1, I'm sure of that much.
