Rookie Draft Today!

My rookie draft for the team in the sig starts in an hour. I'm very excited as a ton of my previous trades of aging vets has let to a boatload of picks. And I am the reigning champion.

I have the following picks:

1.01
1.02
1.04
1.05
1.06
1.08
1.10
2.05
4.08

I'm locked in on Bijan and Anthony Richardson with the first two picks. The manager at 1.03 is a wild card. It is superflex, and his only QBs are Kyler Murray and Jordan Love. His main RBs are J. Conner, D. Henry, and Kamara. So I think between the RB needs and being a huge Lions fan, he will go with Gibbs at 1.03.

If that is the case, what recommendations do you have for my next three picks? Since it is superflex, my gut says B. Young, C.J. Stroud, and JSN. But with Mahomes, Hurts and Richardson already on my roster, is that too many QBs? Should I try to trade down or out from one of the spots? Curious on thoughts on this.

Let's hope Gibbs goes 1.03. IMO that is a fairly awful pick in SF.

I'm all about trading out of Young and Stroud given your roster. But you need to get full value. I don't know your league - maybe that means selling the picks when they are OTC or maybe it means grabbing the players and trading them in-season. They are both top-30 SF start-up picks IMO. I'd want the moon or close to it. You have the luxury to do whatever you want.

BPA across the board to maximize value. Load up on top end prospects! You are in a great spot and let the draft come to you. If Gibbs goes with the 1.03, you can load up on QB value.

So 1.3 ended up being Stroud. So I followed up with Young, Gibbs, and JSN. 1.7 was Addison. I took Q. Johnston at 1.8. Z. Flowers went to another team at 1.9 and I took D. Kincaid at 1.10.

Very nice. Stroud going before Young is unusual. You got a handful of elite assets. Congrats.

Here is the final results of my rookie draft today. I had a boatload of picks come up from trades 2-3 years back. This is for the team in my signature (Rochester Roadkill). 10 teams, 6 rounds.

I made a few moves as part of the draft:
*Traded Dalvin Cook for 3.01 (T. Spears) and a 2025 3rd
*I didn't have a 5th or 6th this year, but traded a 2024 5th and 6th for 5.8 (K. Boutte) and a 2025 5th and 6th for 6.10 (M. Cunningham) as flyers on my PS.
