Dalvin Cook Trade Value

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Dalvin Cook Trade Value

Postby ThatGuyBrian » Tue Aug 08, 2023 4:50 pm

I am currently trying to acquire Dalvin Cook, but it is made difficult due to him not being on a team. Yes, this is a try to buy low before he signs.

Currently I am looking to move Romeo Doubs in some package from the "possibly competitive" team in my sig. What Packaged with Doubs gets it done. The other owner is in rebuild mode.

A would not add more than a 2nd or equivalent value. Cook looked pretty rough last year, so he is worth the stash but only for a decent cost. Do not overpay.

If I'm an owner Doubs and a 2nd is a non-starter. I'm waiting for him to sign and selling for a 1st. He's not worth that, maybe, but everyone gets desperate for RBs once point scoring season kicks off.

Looking at your roster I don't think that you really need him. If he does sign with NY, and it's still a very big IF, he's splitting carries with Hall. I think that Doubs is expandable, but what does the other owner want on top of him? I'd throw out the Doubs and a 2nd now, but I wouldn't add a first.

I’ve been trying to move Dalvin on a rebuilder. Haven’t been able to get any traction at all. No counters or anything. Latest I sent was Dalvin + Mostert to a contender for 2 2024 2nds, and that was turned down also. His value is very low in my experience.

I couldn't sell Cook for a 1st back when he was still the incumbent on a team... doubt he'll be worth a 1st again unless he signs and we see him on the field in good form. I agree with Gator, I watched him on the field last season and thought he looked pretty "cooked" already (pun intended). I was happy to move on from him when I did
