So I had pick 1.04 in the draft and I was absolutely torn between QJ and Addison. In the end I ended up taking QJ.
Now I'm talking with the Addison owner (who took him 1.06 after Kincaid went 1.05)
Deal we're close on is I give Trey McBride (I have Hockenson so that's fine imo), my 2nd that'll probably be early (team 1 in sig), and then a 1st that I *think* will be on the later end. Basically if that first ends up picks 8-10 I'd love this deal, but if that first ends up 5 or 6 not so much. I've got 5 firsts next year after starting a rebuild mid last season.

Oddly I think I pass. Value is solid to good, I know you want to trade up in 10 team format but i think you can do better with a 2024 1st + early 2nd + 2nd round values player. Not to mention I like McBride and te gets a boost in a shallow league.
Personally would hold off and just try and flip these assets and win next year. If picks are generally hard to trade in your league maybe I do take this though.

prefer the picks unless you have strong conviction addison is an elite talent and will command steady volume. my opinion is he will be hit or miss weekly and end with low end wr2 type numbers on the season

Based on the 1st possible ending up mid, where Addison was drafted, I would try to hold out the 2nd. Seems more likely that you could hold out McBride, while I prefer the 2nd from your side, one of the two extra pieces should not be included in this deal. Bit of an overpay where we sit right now.
You took Johnston for a reason, no need to overpay now to land Addison who will always be behind Jefferson as long as they play together.
