Team 2 in sig
About 2 months back, I asked this group on what 3 players I should dropped in order to get roster legal prior to our rookie draft, it was the majority that said to drop, Mason, Snoop Conner and Strong.
Now I’m starting to hear momentum for Strong as having value in NE RB rotation and even Stevensons direct back up. Well he is still a free agent and I’m wondering if I should think about scooping him back up. What is everyone’s thoughts about Strong today and is there anyone on my team two roster you’d drop for Strong?
Ps I do have to make 3 more cuts (assuming no preseason IRS happening prior to the start of the season.

Even if he is RS's direct back up, and I think he will be, its very hard to see him having any fantasy relevance in a 10 team start 9 league. I would roster him over Mostert, Willis.

I don't think you'll miss Kyren Williams (with Evans and Michel added to the backfield) or Z. Knight (he had two good games and then looked like hot garbage, they drafted another good back, and are reportedly dipping their toes into the Dalvin Cook sweepstakes). I prefer Strong to both.

Kyren and Vaughn are easy cuts for Strong. I'm not a fan of Kmet, and wouldn't even think about picking him up off waivers. You either have Denzel Mims on IR (easy cut) or Marvin Mims (easy promotion to the active roster). I could even see letting Chark walk.

I traded a 2024 3rd for Strong in a Superflex where Stevenson might be my RB2 (depends on Cook and Mixon) and really strong WRs (Kupp, Diggs, Adams).
Felt like it was a good insurance piece for Stevenson, wouldn't really be interested in stand a lone value.
