Massive Draft Day

Making this post to hopefully get a letter grade critique from you guys. I started this draft day with goals to probably aim for next year to compete and build off the young team I already had with my picks and possible trades.

I get to the draft day at my boy's and we all start celebrating with drinks so would love some opinions, thanks.

Started team 3 with 1.4, 2.4, 2.8, 3.4, 4.3, 4.5
Had my own and a contender's 1sts in 24, same 2x 2nds, 1 3rd, 1 3th

First deal basically sealed my goal to try and contend.
Send: 1.4, 4.4, 24 2nd (mine), 24 3rd
Got: CMC & Kupp

Send: 2.4 & 3.4
For: 2.1 & 24 3rd --took LaPorta as my TE2 in 1.5pprtep & a need

This next one was further pushing contend now but keeping pick # up
Send: My 24 1st, 25 3rd, 25 4th
Got: Ekeler, 24 2nd, 25 2nd

Send: 2.8
For: 2.9 & 24 4th -- took Mims

Traded: Taysom Hill & Juwuan Johnson
Got: 4.8 & 25 3rd --took Sean Tucker ‍♂️

2.1 LaPorta
2.9 Mims
4.3 Puka
4.8 Sean Tucker

The best part of everything is the 24 1st I kept was the team that I got the players from, and it sent him into a rebuild so hopefully early

The CMC and Kupp deal is crazy good value and a great deal. With hoping to contend, you need another WR to hit for your WR3, Watson to make a jump/get back to where he was and a better TE.

If all comes together and you land a TE, you could male a push this year post draft day deals. Worse comes to worse, you have pieces to move in season if the wheels come off.

I wanted to take Stroud/Gibbs with that 1.4 bad but seemed too much to turn down on the surface. It should help make a push but I hate to own so many assets on the cliff.

Crazy enough he took JSN with the 1.4 he traded for, love the conviction!

the boys all turned into trade sluts after 2 drinks lol, but appreciate ya brother. Hated to give up the 1.4 particularly, so nice to hear. Remaining 24 1st could even be 1.1 after this guy cleared house.

The 2 deals for the stud players are ridiculous, other contenders can’t be happy with those moves.

Particularly ekeler and 2 2nds for a late projected 1st?? Yikes that’s a rip off.
