Agreed I would not trade 1.02 for ARSB in a 16 team SF. That said, I think he is much closer to 1.02 than he is to 1.08.

I think he's probably worth 1.04ish.

but I don't have 1.04 so I thought we were working toward 1.08 + a 2024 1st or St. Brown plus for 1.02. But then we were going the wrong direction.

I admit that 1.08 straight up was a weak offer and I'm not offended by 1.02 straigh up, I just thought adding the 2nd was funny.

It wouldn't shock me if Levis + Kincaid or a 2nd terir RB goes in the top 7 and JSN is available at 1.08.
Well Bijan should go 1.01 so he's not in the conversation. Richardson and Bryce might have more value but they are unknowns. They are closer in value to ARSB than Addison or QJ.

And if you know JSN will fall then why try to trade away the 1.08? You obviously still think ARSB is better or you wouldn't offer it.

I will say it's not awful but ARSB is a lot closer to the 1.02 than the 1.08.

I dont think in 16 team it's a forgot conclusion that Bijan goes 1.01. I'm not even sure he should.

And I don't know that JSN will fall to 1.08 but there was a comment about taking JSN at 1.02. It wouldn't shock me if he is available at 1.08 but there is zero chance he goes at 1.02.

Yea I admit 1.08 for ASRB is light (even if it were JSN). I thought there was a chance to do 1.08 plus like 2.01 and a 2024 2nd or 1.08 plus a 2024 1st. I should have started closer to the end point.

My 16 team SF rookie draft 1st round (PPC, tiered PPR - 0.5/1.25/2.0) was:
Richardson, Young, Bijan, Stroud, Gibbs, JSN, Levis, Addison, QJ, Flowers, Kincaid, Charbonnet, Hooker, Downs, Mayer, Mingo

Your trade partner was definitely pissed at the low opening but what does he expect when he puts him on the trade block? A player on the trade block is widely interpreted as send the lowest possible offer. Personally, I never use the trade block in my Sleeper leagues. In my one MFL league, I did during the startup because I could put in the comments what return I am looking for.

I'd have arsb right at 1.04.

There is a huge dropoff after 1.06. 1.02 is much closer to arsb value than 1.08.

If you offer a bad trade expect to get one back. As I said before, those counters are exactly what I would.have done

The logic here is off too me.

If he thought the 1.08 trade was so bad it required a equally bad response he would have done it right way. (Like ARSB for 1.02, 1.08, 2021 and DeSean Watson) but he didn't. He offered 1.02 which you apparently this is a fair trade. Then after I increased my offer you think he decided to give me a taste of my own medicine by making his offer worse.

It just doesn't make any sense. In reality he was sending lots of trades and counters (probably while sauced), and he didn't look or remember the last offer he made.

But either way it doesn't really matter

1.01-1.06= a fair offer in 16 team SF. I wouldn't pay more than the 1.04. 1.08 is a bad trade offer. You didn't increase your offer in any meaningful way. A second isn't worth anything.

Either your values or ediquite is way off.

Depends if you have to start 2 RB's, if you have to start 2 in a 16 team league, I see no problem taking Bijan.

Seems it's point per carry, too. I'm not passing on Bijan in this format for a guy like Young, who I'm not totally sold on. Bijan will score what, 500-600 points in that format?
