Damn... that is some premium LaPorta you just bought.
Here I am hoping he falls down to me in the late 2nd...
Cook is a hometown kid and probably wants to go back really bad. Also, he's still a very good RB. I think it's more about Miami just loading up on offense, though in real football it's not a needle mover.
This makes little sense to me. How would decreasing his snap share and touch count significantly, help him? This seems like creating a positive narrative to fit negative a situation.
You got it all wrong. Fewer touches is critical!! Decrease the touches and it greatly decreases chance of injury which means he plays more games. Then you just rely on a huge fppt (fantasy points per touch), the greatest metric ever. So achane just needs an insane fppt.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Thu Jun 29, 2023 12:32 amThis makes little sense to me. How would decreasing his snap share and touch count significantly, help him? Dolphins have an offer out to Dalvin, supposedly. That's not good for Achane, if he takes it, no other way to slice it. The current Dolphins backfield is a better situation than adding Dalvin Cook to it, for Achane's FF outlook.
It makes sense when you consider what his physical condition would be midseason if he gets a 15 touch per game workload given his size.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Thu Jun 29, 2023 12:32 amThis makes little sense to me. That didn't take long. Poor kid.abloom wrote: ↑Sun May 07, 2023 1:23 pmI fear he's gonna be used as a 20lb lighter Mostert and it won't end well
Just trying to keep my prediction of preseason injuries to rbs alive and well.
I'd still take Gibbs. Both undersized, not high touch backs, but Achane certainly seems to have a team who understands how to use him to get the most efficiency over his lesser role.
