1.02 1.04 1.09 for Metcalf Pitts and 1.07?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

1.02 1.04 1.09 for Metcalf Pitts and 1.07?

Postby lethallemurs92 » Tue May 16, 2023 9:20 am

Currently have an option to trade Metcalf, Pitts and 1.07 for 1.02, 1.04, and 1.09. KTC values as fair but DLF calc has a starter worthy player gap ~300 pts. Reminder: 16 team league, start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 flex.
16-team, PPR 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1(RB/WR/TE), 1 D/ST

QB J Allen, B Young
RB K Walker, J Gibbs, J Warren
WR Amon Ra St. Brown C. Olave, D. London, E. Moore, Josh Downs, Trey Palmer
TE Sam Laporta, Darren Waller

I think the value is fair-ish but I am not as sold on Pitts as many. It may be a bit light because Metcalf should be worth more than the 1.02 but Pitts is not worth the 1.04. At the same time, the 1.04 is not the best range this year unless you are really high on Addison or another WR not named JSN. Landing Gibbs with the 1.02 helps your RB core but losing Metcalf hurts your WRs. Tough call here, but I think you are losing a bit of value. I would rather move Pitts and hold Metcalf depending on what the return looks like.

I prefer the players side. I actually do see Pitts being >than the 1.04, personally, particularly in a 1QB.

I would not want to lose DKM for this return. To make this closer to equal, I'd ask to keep my 1.07 and still receive the 1.09.

Alternately, I'd prefer to do Pitts+1.07 for 1.02+1.09

I did it. I know I am losing value over all, but currently I am in discussions moving 1.04 and 1.09 for Olave. I am intrigued by Addison at 1.04 though and I know he is not Metcalf, but I am hoping for a better floor than what Metcalf offered last year with Geno. Addison goes to a team with a defense that has not really improved, will have to continue to throw the ball to stay in games and the more than likely release of Dalvin Cook with ~5 targets per game becoming available. With the presence of JSN, I anticipate Metcalf's somewhat volatile or sporadic-esque results to worsen.
