61 targets 42 receptions for 508yards and 7TDs on 14 games only 2 starts.

No more Trautman but added Moreau though with his health issues this may not matter. Only 16th for yardage among TE's though that is 2nd on the team as a total behind Olave. He is hitting his 4th year as a TE, often this is significant and the saints ignored TE in the draft in this draft which I feel is also significant. Hill is a TE on roster in name and barely used as a receiving TE though maybe that changes. So where are you and why? Fringe TE1? Bust waiting to happen? I see nothing on him and I feel like last year should earn some buzz and buzz kill commentary.

he's good, but he's replacement level. perfect guy to throw in to finish a deal. if he's your guy, go get him, he should be a decent start most every week. if he's someone else's guy and the value looks good to you, ship him out and don't think twice

He's probably a buy candidate at his cost. In the height of rookie fever, he can't cost more than a late 3rd at most right?

Just another up and down and untrustworthy TE. I would have zero interest to trade for him but he is not worth enough to move if you have him. TDs will make or break him weekly like all other non elite level TE. Outside if the top tier, all TEs are basically the same.

Meh. I dropped him before the season in a TEP and don’t regret it even with that solid season.

Yes and yes.
JJ has upside to finish around TE10-15. It's also very possible JJ finishes around TE20-25 and has an utterly forgettable fantasy season. TEs that finish with 400-500yds+5TDs are very replaceable fantasy players.

If I rostered JJ, I'd be happy to hold and hope he gets closer to his upside. If I did not roster him, I would pay very little to acquire him if it's not a 2TE/TEP league.
