Even in a 1 QB unless QB scoring is low, value is with Young. Bigsby if not.

Unfortunately I have to agree. Taking Young feels like capitulating to the mediocrity of this draft in 1QB. I think he's fine for SF because of a relatively high floor. But high floor doesn't do much in 1QB. He's going to be a high end QB2 or part of a QBBC for 1QB. I guess that's fine. But it's not great.

I'd be tempted to take LaPorta because of positional value and that he projects to be the top scoring rookie TE. But if he is the top scorer that probably puts him in about the same value range as Young. Young is going off at about the same time as Chig and Kmet in 1QB. So that tells you the value is with Young.

i'm taking the day 2 RB. and who wouldn't want a Tank in his lineup?
12 teams 1 QB i'm not really interested in QBs unless andy dalton is my starter or the score is tweaked to give them more value. he either becomes elite or he is completely replaceable otherwise.
the RB is the one who could gain value more quickly than the others.
reed or laporta are more boring (less ceiling) but should be alright in the long run.

I prefer guys with a defined role at this point in the draft. Not sure the others will get there so I'm going with Young as well.

I’m a really big Jayden Reed fan, walking into the WR2 chair in Green Bay. I’d go with him
Jake Fromm State Farm (12 team PPR SF)
QB: Purdy, ARich (TS), Levis (TS), Bagent, Hall, Rudolph, Fromm
RB: Roschon (TS), Allgeier, Hill, Demercado, McLaughlin, Mitchell, K. Harris, E. Wilson
WR: Addison, London, Jmo, Shaheed, Reed (TS), Pop D, Iosivas, C. Jones, Mooney, T. Palmer, Scott, Tucker, Austin, Gipson, Melton,
TE: Musgrave, Mayer (TS), Trautman, Gray, Jordan
2024: 1.01, 1.07, 2.04, 2.10, 2.11, 3.01, 3.06, 3.07, 3.11
2025: 1, 1, 2, 3, 3, 3, 4

I'm going against consensus here and taking any of those guys over Young in 1qb. I'm assuming since you said your team was well rounded you have a decent QB and a backup. Really don't need that 3rd qb. The three non abs could all go off and be worth much more than they are currently. It's not like you are taking a guy like Deuce Vaughn who really can't ever have a huge or meaningful role. They all have good upside/decent chance of moving into 1st round value.
TEAM 1 - 12 man SF. ppr, TEP 1.65 ppr

11 starters - QB, RB(2) WR(3) TE, SF, Flex(3)

Stroud, Kyler, Bryce Young, Anthony Richardson, Minshew, Trey Lance, Dalton l, Mike White

Breece, Achane, AJ Dillon, Justice Hill, Evan Hull, Chris Rodgriquez

Chase, Lamb, Waddle, Olave, London Drake, Demario Davis, Jake Bobo

Kyle Pitts, Mark Andrews, Kincaid, Schoonmaker

24 picks - 1x2, 3,4,5

Team 2-
12 man SF, .25ppc, .5ppr rbs, 1 ppr wr, 1.5 ppr TE

Joe Burrow, Trevor Lawerence, Jake Haehner, Jake Browning

JT, Kendre Miller,, K Ingram, Ty Chandler, Michael Carter, Kenny Macintosh, Sean Tucker

Puka, Rondale, Mooney, Wan’dale, Terrace Marshall, DPJ, Justyn Ross, Xavier Hutchinson,

Kyle Pitts, Luke Musgrave, Juwan Johnson, Darnell Washington, Jelani Woods, Elijah Higgins

24 - 1st x 3, 2nd x 2, 4th x 3 ,5

well put. young would need to become mahomes-like to be worth a late 1st in that format. the others probably will never get there either, but they more of a chance than young.
