i like this. I had the production shift in mind to keep my MPF down for QB1 in 2024. But I had not though of the value spike at week 7, this could be a sneaky way to flip a 24 2nd now for a 24 1st when he comes back. that's good stuffPullo Vision wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2023 6:32 pmJameson is a great buy for rebuilders/tankers. Love how I had Calvin Ridley and now Jameson back to back years with gambling issues. What is going on.

Re: Jameson Williams Thread
I just moved him for a future first (late) in a SF/TE premium. Other owner is a really good owner, and has more risk tolerance than me. Too many red flags for me. The last straw was when I found out he flew to Vegas 24 hours after his suspension to gamble and go to fights (that he'd likely gambled on too). There's too many things that lead me to believe he's too immature to develop into what I thought he could be. Strike vs the PCP and and the smoke that has been building around him and his decision making/head space over the past year has led me to reset on the pick.
PS. Can we change his nickname from Jamo to Jameson Shill-iams? Seems appropriate considering his propensity for gambling, and how he lured so many of us in with that big season of his.

Re: Jameson Williams Thread
I keep typing different answers to this, but it's hard to answer because it's so team/league dependent. On top of that, Jameson has such a wide range of outcomes, both dynasty and redraft. Valuations are going to be so wide. We're not talking Diggs vs Andrews here- established but older top tier producers.yinzername wrote: ↑Tue Apr 25, 2023 7:09 ami like this. Assuming the right circumstances (contender, or trying to avoid Jameson's bust potential for a more stable/predictable asset), I wouldn't hesitate to add a late 2nd to the young potential for Andrews. Depending on the draft, I could easily see doing a mid or even early 2nd.
But, I don't really like formulating trades like that- two youth pieces for an older producer. It can easily blow up in the face of either side. I'd prefer a 2 for 2 (or more pieces), where each side gives a young and old piece, one being production, the other potential. Something like Jameson+Hopkins for Andrews+Tua would be much more interesting to balance out, and has youth, production, risk and potential on both sides.

Re: Jameson Williams Thread
I knows it’s a different position but Gibbs being drafted this year as an explosive playmaker is also just not good for Jameson. That 41 yard run Jameson had last year is going to go to Gibbs now. I don’t see any significant target share for Williams now. I think he can do exactly what Detroit drafted him for but for fantasy it seems now more than ever that he just won’t get the volume he needs

Re: Jameson Williams Thread
Pass attempts are pass attempts, wether they are to a WR, RB, Or TE. Where do you see Jameson getting substantial fantasy volume from now? Gibbs will take away targets from every player. Goff especially used to love checking down to Gurleymurphysxm wrote: ↑Sat May 06, 2023 12:54 pmThis seems to be quite a stretch to me.Patsfan86 wrote: ↑Sat May 06, 2023 11:11 am I knows it’s a different position but Gibbs being drafted this year as an explosive playmaker is also just not good for Jameson.
