So where are we at on him now post draft? Ravens didn't take a RB. Full year of recovery. He didn't look right I agree, but still put up numbers at the end.

Are we buying or selling?

(I own him and I'm leaning needing something substantial to move him, especially in what I consider an underwhelming rookie class)

Trade activity for this guy right now is hilarious. Well, unless you like him. No thanks. Even with "everything" they've done this offseason, there's something about that offense I just don't like.

I think this is his breakout year if health permits. He looked to be finally getting back to 100% late last year.

Yup, I'm more on this side of it too.

We're talking about a back that has an average YPC on the Jamaal Charles scale when he's right.

It sounds like the Ravens intend to air it out this year. He's the only RB with pass catching of note on the roster too, so he fits the profile as the RB that should be on the field the most in a Monken offense.

I'm bullish.

Let's just hope he doesn't get put out there in pre-season to work on his passing game chops again. That dumb azz look on Harbaugh's face, I can still see it.

Ugh, I can too. Honestly one of the more disappointing fantasy days I can remember.

Really had the full range of emotions, too - he looked in absolutely unreal shape on the first few carries, like he was shot out of a cannon.

Nothing but downhill since then. Really hoping this is finally his year.

I mean, I've held for this long so I kind of have to hold to wait and see how he produces...right?

I dont think the trade market is going to blow anyone away, and there is a "chance" he produces at RB1 level. Not a ton of guys who we can say that about but the alternative is taking a flyer on a 2nd round pick.

People have forgot that Dobbins was considered by some to be the best RB in his class and his rookie season was quite good. Last year he was highly efficient while running like Greg Jennings with a broken leg in Madden.

Given the additional healing time, I fully expect Dobbins to go nuclear in 2023. RB1 season incoming.

Love the reference.
I think he will have a great year assuming he stays healthy.

Loved Dobbins in college and coming into the NFL. But he just can’t get past injuries. Shows how unpredictable they are as I don’t remember him ever really being hurt in college.

What would you trade him away for at this point as a contender? Whatever you can get?

Whatever you can get.

In the last couple of years:

Torn ACL
Torn LCL
Meniscus trim
Grade 3 thigh hamstring tear
Torn Achilles

It's done.

To each their own, but I certainly would. Multi-component knee injury in 2021 that took him quite a while to fully recover from, and now an Achilles. I wouldn't bet on him returning to become the player we hoped he'd be. I feel genuinely bad for the guy. But I imagine his career is pretty much over at this point.

I imagine he'll try to return, but can't imagine things ending well when he does.

I mean, wasn't he injured during the pre-draft process. That's why he didn't attend the combine.
